Anita's cottage was great, she prepared the cottage before we arrived and stocked it with snacks and water. We loved visiting the area and she had many pamphlets for local attractions in the cottage which was greatly appreciated.
We had a wonderful stay in Anita's place. The house and the surroundings are lovely. It's close to the coral beach (tra Doilin), which is really beautiful and interesting. Unfortunately we didn't meet Anita, but she always had been in touch, and she is a very nice person.
We had a wonderful stay at Anita's cottage. The sunsets were absolutely beautiful and we really enjoyed the fireplace. The cottage is within a 45min to an hour drive from Galway city center and many other great places including Kylemore Abbey, and Connemara championship links golf course. Anita was great with communication and also very welcoming and even left us some breakfast!
A beautiful part of the countryside with wonderful isolated beaches close by. We arrived in the dark so it was tricky to find the cottage but all the more exciting to wake up in the morning to such a wonderful view that we had breakfast outside to enjoy it. Anita was really kind leaving all the breakfast things ready which was much appreciated. The house is a step back in time and nevertheless equipped with dishwasher, washing machine etc.. We had a great Easter there (by the way Anita - thanks also for the easter eggs for the kids … such a nice touch). We highly recommend a stay.
Lovely part of the county. Not for from the coral beach which is a great find. The house is real throw back to old times. I would recommend a visit.
Beautiful setting and a sweet old house. We had a turf fire one night, and a lark woke me up at dawn. I also heard a cuckoo in the evening. We did not meet Anita, but she was very accessible by phone and she left me her bird and flower identification books. I must also say that the next door neighbor and his two dogs were extremely nice.
