Interaction with guests: As much or as little as you like ;-)
The quiet rural setting with expansive views is what we love. Other guests have commented on how they felt instantly at home and welcome, how they enjoyed sitting outside and overlook the paddocks with a sip of wine or cuddle the dog with their first cuppa in the sun out on the deck.
We live rural so you need a car. Public transport out here is as much as the overland bus stop at the next village only. We hire out bikes if you feel energetic or you can enjoy long or short walks in the area.
Other Things to Note
We also have two guest rooms in the house so we can accommodate up to 7 guests.
Treat us like you want to be treated. Smoking outside only, dogs welcome.
I stayed at the self-contained and private unit for 4 nights. Karin & Dieter made me feel like I was at my friend’s house. We had very interesting conversations at the breakfast, we laughed a lot. The breakfast was pretty good too. I enjoyed the sauna after a hard day of tramping.
They had lots of brochure for all the activities in the area. I really enjoyed the rural atmosphere of the place, which sits in the middle of bunch of wineries. Thanks and hope to be back again.

About the Host, Karin
Hi, I am originally from Germany, having lived in NZ since 1996. I fell in love with NZ right away and eventually with my husband, too, who I worked for during the first 1/2 year initially. We have this amazing place and we both like meeting other people so how better then through the B&B?! The profile photo shows one of our two Border Collies, who love meeting people, too!
