Aletia was a great host. Very friendly, always ready to help. If you are shy, she gives you your own time. If you want to socialize, she give you tips, and good recommendations! Thanks Aletia!
We were there during Xmas, and she invited us to Xmas events (dancing event, Xmas evening, New Year's Eve party...). And concerning the apartment, it was very clean, cosy and we felt comfortable.
Of course, it is not a 5 stars hotel, you share the house with other people (so sometimes you have to wait to go to the toilet :p), but quality/price is very worthy.
Also good location. There is a 50m swimming pool and gym at 5 min walking (Riverside). I recommend it too!
We stay in Aletia's place for one month
She is so nice host and the house is so lovely and clean
It's convenience to everywhere coz the subway just out of the apartment
We had great time during we stay in the house :)
I had a great time at the apartment. Aletia is a great host, very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and has enough space to keep your stuff. The apartment is nice and Aletia does a good job making sure it is in good shape.
The location of the apartment is convenient, with a subway stop on the same block, and loads of places with everything you might need nearby. You will have a good time staying at this place.
Aletia’s place was good deal for its price; I don’t believe the price gets any lower anywhere in Manhattan, especially considering the convenience of being right by the 1 train. It’s also just one mile (a short walk) to Columbia University and Manhattan School of Music if you are coming here for that. There was art throughout the apartment which we enjoyed. The downside would be that the firescape room was slightly tight for two people, especially since we had quite a bit of luggage (we just moved to NYC and this was our temporary place until we got our own apartment) – but for one person, it is spacey. It’s a 5 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment, so just a heads up that there will be an occasional time or two where you may need to use the restroom and it’ll be in use. Other than that, all was good. It was great meeting Aletia and the handful of international people who so happened to be staying there at that time.
It was a really great moment.. all was perfect in the house and the location is near from the line 1 of the subway which goes to Time square.. Plus, Aletia was really cool....
If you go to New York i advice you to book one of her bedroom..
