I recommend this place. Amazing spot in LA like a castle!!! Wonderful experience.
Fabulous trip and precisely what I was looking for ...... 2 blocks from the kids and grandkids. Could not have been more convenient.
This house is located in a beautiful neighborhood. We arrived during the host's Thanksgiving dinner celebration, and we were graciously invited to join the group for dessert. We had just come from our own large family gathering, and were eager to check in. I had reserved the Fireplace Suite, with a King bed and bathroom with travertine marble and Jacuzzi tub. We were shown to a room with two double beds and a trundle day bed. When I explained that I'd reserved the Fireplace Suite I was told that there must have been a computer error. I was so disappointed that it was difficult for me to enjoy my stay.
This was a very nice place to stay, and the host made me feel like one of the family. She was very accommodating about providing value for my stay since I had a very early schedule and was unable to partake of the breakfast.
The architecture and history of the house was very interesting, and the neighborhood a very nice place for walks. It was fund getting a tour of the property from her very knowledgeable son.
The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the service of changing towels every 2 days.
Very historic home, but in need of major renovation and cleaning. Guests stay in rooms obviously occupied by owners with personal belongings in bed and bathrooms. Breakfast not served as promised. Owners nice, but not providing a proper Bnb. Would not recommend this unless you really like staying in a musty home from a bygone era.
We enjoyed our night at Sherry's and especially having breakfast with her Italian JPL scientist guests and having a tour of her historically interesting house by her young son!
This was our second stay. We had a different room. It was smaller than the room the 1st time but it was clean and comfortable. Sherry, her son and daughter, and Darlene were very gracious hosts. Staying with them is a pleasant adventure. Unique home.
