The Space

This two bedroom apartment is situated in one the citys most prime locations yet it's strategic location makes u feel you are at a weekend getaway. Every necessity is accessible at walking distance be it markets atms banks etc yet its a corner house on a very quiet and peaceful lane and so has a great view of greenery from every room and every window.

Its clean spacious airy bright and a lot of breeze and good vibe. If u are an early riser u will also get to see and hear some exotic birds (binoculars are available for the same).. It's cut off from the city noise and hustle bustle.... Having said that just one lane away are all the shopping markets, restaurants and within 10 min driving distance are malls, multiplexes, pubs etc... At 2 min walking distance is the state of the art, Kokilaben Ambani hospital, which is the newest hospital in the city. ( you can view the same on maps)

The apartment is fully equipped with all the amenities along with a fully functional kitchen. The Apartment has unlimited wifi, hd digital tv, 24/7 water supply and a common security guard for the building. Though the building is not new, the apartment is new and tastefully yet simply done. It's clutter free clean and cozy. There is ample open space around the building and there is a joggers park with walking / jogging track at 1 min walking distance.

Breakfast is included and other meals can be provided at additional cost. If you like to cook feel free and don't worry about dishes, there is a cleaning maid who comes every morning.

Also a big help is that anything and everything can be delivered to your doorstep, be it take away meals, grocery, pharmacy, laundry etc... Some nice reflexology and beauty parlours are also withing the 10 min (website hidden). Since this listing is for a private room, the second room may/may not be occupied. You will have a private room with attached private bathroom. kitchen, living and dining areas will be common. In case you want one room exclusively with the apartment, you may let me know and in case you want the entire apartment then i also have a seperate listing for that.

  • The apartment is great, located in a a very nice part of Bombay.
We spent wonderful 5 weeks with our baby in the room with the balcony.
The neighborhood has nice markets, great food, people, colors, smells.. and all shopping needed.
A short rickshaw drive takes to trendy cafes, fashion shops, big malls, the beach and more.
When we felt homie and stayed in - it felt cosy and the house was done with lots of love, attention and good taste:
The big windows, the green view, the cool private balcony where we passed lots of hours (email hidden) island in the middle of the city.
Quickest home delivery in the world, and anything can be delivered..
Watching a movie on the HD, having dinner and even a private cook.

Adita is a one special woman. A great person to talk and listen to, and above all - a perfect hostess.
She really cared for us to enjoy our stay. Took us for a ride and showed us all kind of places, constantly stoking up the place with fresh juice, fruits to our choice and other thing we like (black fantasy chocolate cookies..), together with the cook and cleaner, they spoiled us real good.

Long story short - it's the best apartment, in a great location with an awesome hostess!
    you snooze you loose ..

  • I had stayed with Adita in Mumbai India for two months. In the time of my stay Adita assisted me in getting my bearings of Mumbai through her kind advice. Her knowledge led me to tasteful restaurant, buzzing night life and historic sights that fed my senses.

Adita's accommodation is modern, convenient, well kept and a stroll away from all you will need to access. During my stay Adita assisted me in my travels across India. She assisted me through her family travel business to reach beautiful places like Agra the home of the Taj Mahal, Jaipur, Udaipor, Delhi and Goa. My travel experience was comfortable and convenient, truly a recommended way to travel India.

I would recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a long term stay in Mumbai.

  • There are no words to truly capture how great Adita's place is and how fabulous Adita is. Her flat is a little piece of paradise in the middle of the hustle of Mumbai. It is cool and airy, full of light and the view from the terrace will take your breath away! So many mornings and evenings I spent enjoying that terrace! Most importantly, Adita is a gem. She made my trip to India so easy and fun. Adita went above and beyond to make sure I was settled in and sorted. By the end of my 8 weeks, I wanted to take her home with me. You can't ask for more; an amazing apartment and an even more amazing Adita! Can't wait to come back and see you and my terrace again!!!

  • Beside a pleasant hosting experience to stay at Adita place - a blend of creative, clean and essential ambience to gift you a privacy with your own - it has been an overall outstanding human experience made by a deep spiritual wisdom and availability scent of a soul who enriches you within, through an intellectual acknowledging professional touch, all, expressed by a delicate, sensible and yet fascinating woman.
    Definitely touching!

  • A wonderful and cozy little apartment. The apartment is exactly like how you see in the pictures. "Indeed a Home away from home".We loved the way that Adita decorated her apartment with bright vivid and tasteful colors.
The decor of the apartment is warm and inviting and it has lots of natural light, which we really (email hidden)e whole
house is kept very clean .
Adita was very organized and communicative, and the whole the process could not have been easier. She had always been prompt
and nice in her replies. We felt like we were at home and it was so relaxing
Adita was really a fun and exciting person to interact with, a perfect host, and she did provide detailed posted instructions and tips to help make our stay a wonderful experience

The food was similarly delicious, and invariably accompanied by cheerful, interesting conversation with Adita. We were given a lot of breakfast options in our welcome packet and it was deliciously cooked by her cooking maid Malti.

The location is very convenient. There are always plenty of Auto rikshas right outside the building which makes it easy to get around town.
You can get your haggling hat on and take an auto-rickshaw for access to tourist sites and shopping areas in the other parts of mumbai.
We couldn't have asked for a better experience.5 starts and highly recommended! Thanks Adita :)!

  • I found Adita's apartment among numerous others on Airbnb without knowing anything about accommodations in Bombay or India at all and ended up booking the room for a month. And I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE PLEASED by the experience!!! The apt. is even nicer than the photos intimate, and Adita could not have been a more delightful host. Her cook, Pinky, makes Indian breakfasts that are of the best I've had in India (I've since moved on to other cities and breakfast venues...) The apt. is situated just near Four Bungalows and Versova--great places to explore, esp. the Versova fishing village--and is a clean (and daily cleaned) oasis in a city that is, sadly, smoggy and noisy...) I spent many an evening on the balcony. Adita has hand-selected and designed a place where every detail has been attended to. She is an excellent source for what to do in Bombay and on India at-large. I could not have been more satisfied with my time staying at Adita's. The only con I can think of is for those who wish to spend their time in tourist enclaves like will take you 45-min.+ by train/rickshaw combo to get there. Or you can go by cab, a roughly 550 rupee ride. Personally, I would trade Colaba for the more interesting--and less touristy--neighborhoods of the north, and see Colaba on a day-trip or two. Bandra is a rickshaw-ride away--not exactly close either, but not too far either...I give the place and host the full five stars, without a doubt...

That means I have very hectic schedules and there are spells when I have a lot of free time....I love traveling though I feel I can do better on that front and explore more...I also love meeting new people and interacting with people from different walks of life and diverse nations and cultures..I'm told that I'm a good host and I would like to believe that whoever stays in my home as a guest would also feel well taken care of. I am easy going and not too fussy. I love to mingle yet I respect the need for privacy. My house is well equipped, clutter free and user friendly.
