Even though i did not meet Alex, He was responsive via SMS and he even gave me a call when i was in Saudi to assure me everything was in order.
The apartment location was fantastic. It was walking distance from IGA supermarket, Chapel street for shopping and dining, and South Yarra metro station.
The apartment itself was smaller that i expected (definitely not enough for 6 as advertised. I would say two adults and two small kids max). Also the furniture was different from the photos.
Overall good value for the money.

Glad you had a great stay and enjoyed apartment. a few things to clarify - furniture was different style because we have two apartments in same which are the same (layout/features) but different style of furniture. I gave you the better apartment, which is higher up, so you had city views!!. Also in regards to size we believe it comfortable up to 4 guests. but we permit to have up to 6 if the guest requires. some people only use apartment for sleeping, so depends on your needs. We clearly advertise size and sqm of the place. Thanks again for staying with us! Always welcome
The process to book the place was good, Alex was helpful and kept the place for us for a little while so we could get the money sorted out. A week and a half before we were due to arrive, we received a message that the apartment we booked had some issues and that we would be able to go into a different apartment nearby. The apartment was sufficient but not what we expected so we were given an option to another apartment which wasn't an improvement so we decided to stay where we were. There were a couple of small things that we found somewhat frustrating though. Because we were a group of 5, Alex said that he would arrange for an additional bed (fold-out), instead we were provided with an air-bed. Alex would also arrange for a cot bed and sheets for our son, however, there were no sheets. Check-out was a little bit messy, we asked what the procedure would be but we didn't receive a reply until the evening before we left (3 days after we asked) and then received a request to confirm if we received the message when we had already left the apartment. Like I said, everything was very good when making the arrangements but there were some issues during our stay which was a bit frustrating.
Great appartment. Excellent position and terriffic views. It was well appointed and furnished.
Alex was there to meet us and was friendly, courteous and helpful. Initially there were a few problems with another flat but Alex did everthing to make sure our requirements were met.
We actually did not get to stay in this apartment and Alex offered this one to us instead:
While I was on the plane down to Melbourne from Sydney, Alex tried to call me to tell us that the apartment had water issues (the washing machine pipes had blown up), so when I got off the plane, contacted Alex straight away, who was accommodating and organised to meet us at the other apartment instead(located at 1 Queens Road, Melbourne, not in South Yarra area).
Alex met us at the carpark entrance and we were taken up glass elevators to the penthouse apartment. The penthouse is actually just one storey, with a private rooftop BBQ area, accessed via the spiral staircase in the 2nd bedroom enclave. The double bed in the main bedroom was comfortable but the 3 single beds (one in the main bedroom, and 2 in the bedroom enclave) were a bit too soft.
Alex had told us that if the other apartment was ready by the next day, we were welcome to move there, but alas, the water problem was not rectified and we did not move apartments (since we were only staying for two nights). We would have liked to have 2 bedrooms, as the 2nd bedroom in this apartment was more a "nook" with sliding screens. Also, the wifi was really weak even if we were near the router. Alex provided a new toaster and kettle.
Overall, the view from the rooftop was great and it was in a convenient location near the CBD and South Yarra area.
Terrific location and great place to stay in when you visit Melbourne. It is near to all attractions and city.
Although I didn't get a chance to meet Alex due to our traveling schedule, Alex has been a great host by providing us with useful information and is constantly keeping in touch with us to check if we need anything to make our stay perfect.
Will definitely recommend this to friends.

Such an awesome apartment. Perfect location only moments away from Chapel St and Toorak Rd!! Alex was a great host with lots of communication before our arrival and promptly answered questions via text. The rooftop was great! Access to a porta cot was also really helpful, saved us bringing one with us! Thanks again Alex, we'll definitely stay again!
