It consists of a large living room with sofa bed and a sleeping area with a double bed, a charming bedroom with a private balcony, a big bathroom with bathtub, a second bathroom with shower, and a fully equipped kitchen.
The wooden floor and the elegant furniture ART DECO' make the apartment a real charming house in the heart of Rome.

The apartment is spacious, central, close to the metro and supermarket. The pictures of the livingroom and bathroom have now ( october 2013) changed and reflect how the rooms are. We hired the apartment on the basis of other pictures and were initially dissapointed ( no chairs etc, very basic). There were not enough bath- and no kitchentowels; after an email to Simon & Francy this was solved the next day.
The livingroom side is pretty noisy, even with the windows closed. The bedroom is more quiet. Valentina, the owner, is friendly and helpfull.
We made a few little changes on our apartment like moving a bookcase and changing the chairs in the kitchen, but the amenites and the quality of our apartment are still the same. That's why we didn't update the pictures on Airbnb. We left a bathrobe and a towel for each person, but we immediately provide some more towels after your request. W made a very late check-in (almost 1 am) and this was not mentioned. It was a good experience after all.
The apartment is huge for a couple! It is in a nice apartment complex, and quiet. There is a bedroom and a big living room with a a bed on one side. The bedroom has a balcony too. There are also two bathrooms. The kitchen is in a separate area with a table. The kitchen is also well equipped with kitchenware. Probably good for a family too. Views of the Vatican. You can see the line forming for the Vatican Museum! The property managers were responsive and informative. We met Valentina who is the owner. She is very kind and provided us info on restaurants, bars, etc all over town. We stayed near the Coliseum before but I enjoyed this location better. Less hectic and great place to walk to other neighborhoods. The wifi was strong connection too. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Valentina was an absolutely charming host, so knowledgeable and full of enthusiasm for her beautiful city. She instantly made us feel at home, providing all sorts of information for site seeing, shopping, eating and drinking. Wonderful advice, that took us to some of the most pleasant spots on our trip. She answered all of our questions throughout our stay, and was incredibly kind throughout.
The flat itself is stunning, and clearly has been kept with a great deal of taste and pride. Although it was only one bedroom, it felt very spacious and open, and there was plenty of room for five people to sleep comfortably and have a bit of privacy. Absolutely beautiful, and definitely to be recommended.
We really enjoyed our stay at this apartament. We had all we needed, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and additional baby cot for our 2-year-old daughter. It was perfect for 6 persons ( 4 adults and 2 children). Valentina was really lovely and helpful and recomended where to find the best ice-cream in Rome :-) It is stylishly furnished, beds are comfortable. It took time until we got used to the noise coming from the street but it was the price for staying in a really good location with walls of Vatican across the street. Thanks to this ee could do most of the sightseeing on foot. I can honestly recomend this place.
This was the airbnb experience to rule all airbnb experiences...
Valentina was so sweet and helpful to us. She gave us personalized recommendations, helped us settle in, and was just a great, warm welcome to Rome.
And the place... this must be the best kept secret in Rome. Gorgeous. Amazing windows where you can see the sunset behind the Vatican at night, two clean, functional bathrooms, wonderful art on the walls, cute little balcony off the main bedroom, an adorable eat-in kitchen with windows that open to the courtyard... just exceeded all of our expectations. And the location was so accessible to bus and train lines, (email hidden), the huge indoor market a few blocks away- everything you need.
If we ever return to Rome, THIS is where we will stay.
We really loved our stay in this airy, bright, elegantly furnished apartment in an amazing location!
Valentina who met us was a very warm and genuine person, she clearly cares for the apartment which used to belong to her mother and that shows in the many charming details -paintings, ornaments, books, the piano, the little writing desk by the window.
The two big windows in the living room have pretty mirrored shutters and look right over the walls of the Vatican. The apartment is right by Piazza de Resorgiamento, literally about seven minutes from St. Peter's and also close to Ottovania metro. This great location does mean some ambient noise and bustle from the street below reaches the living room but we liked that. The bedroom is quieter, with a tiny balcony (email hidden) courtyard.
It is also much roomier then it seems in the photos. I stayed with my mother and my brother and in addition to a lovely spacious bedroom with beautiful art deco furniture, there was a proper double bed tucked behind a bookcase screen in the sitting room and another pull out sofa bed which can be pulled out on arrangement. There is also a decent little kitchen with a table and four chairs so you have another place to sit and chat seperate from the living room.
I really can't recommend this gorgeous apartment highly enough and we will definetely be returning for future holidays!
We also tried a gourmet shop called Castroni nearby on Ottovania, a quirky local resturant called Tony and Dino's (no menu so good to have a little Italian) and possibly the BEST ice cream in Rome Fattamorgana on Via G Bettolo.
