Everything was fine. I just needed a cheap place to stay. Effectively it's a bedsit with a shared kitchen, but for the money it's good. Tee was nice and although I only saw him briefly, he very kindly let me wash and tumble-dry my jacket, which had got dirty.
Only saw the host on arrival to receive the keys. Comfortable bed, old house - so not the cleanest. The shower was hot and not too weak with water pressure, which is a problem I have found in London in general. I had a comfortable stay. Also the wi-if is very good.
We stayed with Tee for three nights when we were in London. We had a wonderful time in the city and Tee's place was a great one to come back to at night. It was close to the tube, which took us to the city center in about fifteen minutes. As our main purpose of our visit was to go to the Warner Bros Studio Tour, we were delighted to see the Harry Potter poster right in front of our door. We also liked the fact we were staying in Vernon Road.
The photos resemble the house, but it was just a little less clean. The bathroom ceiling could do with some repair, but that's ok. We could hear the person in the room next to ours cough like he was right next to our ear, but we came prepared and slept with earplugs.
The only time we saw Tee was when we checked in, so unfortunately we couldn't thank him in person. There were other guests, who we only met once on the stairs. We would definitely stay with Tee again!
House and our room are untidy and dirty.
photo has no correlation with the fact about cleaning
Houseowner is uninterested.
A troubled region!!!
We stayed for four nights there and got what we expected - a bed to sleep in. If you want luxery you are definitely at the wrong place, our room was quite small but ok. If you look for a bed to sleep in, this is your choice. The metro station is only a couple of mins by feet. The bathroom was quite large but could be cleaner.
I saw Tee only for handing out the keys.
Tee hosts a quaint English house in the Turnpike Lane neighbourhood, which is a really cool section of London. Tee is very friendly and was prompt in replying to my queries. He also was very accommodating with our agreed on check-in time when my train was delayed by at least an hour and a half, and with me arriving later in the night. WiFi works awesome – I only had a problem once and Tee fixed it immediately. The room is nicely furnished – I appreciated the large wardrobe and small desk, and the large amount of mirrors in the room. Tee and Jin have a good set of rules that I think allows other guests to remain respectful of the bathroom and kitchen space. I will say that it is one bathroom for several people. But it always remained in clean and great condition, and I think larger than most equivalent bathroom spaces in London, which I appreciated. They also have a good set of dishes and pots/pans for cooking as well as abundant refrigerator space. Easily accessible by Tube and a cool pub nearby- the Toll Gate.
thank you Jin and Tee,It's been a pleasure.
My wife and me have had a terrific time in London, and thanks to Tee we have also a perfect place to stay, comfortable and quiet.
Quite place, comfortable bed.
