We spend a week at the barn and we all had a lovely time. The situation of the house is great for the people we want to be isolated for their holidays. For the first three days we did not see a boat cruising in front of us that was just magic. Our host have been very competent and very nice with us.
Particularly Ilas who has been very kind and helpful with us, he is indispensable for the house. He is a great man full of resources and a lovely chef, we had the best octopus we never had.
We had access to the swimming pool and the tennis which was very fortunate otherwise it could have been frustrating.
The children loved the house too, particularly the swimming pool and the tennis. On top of it they have been surrounded by the local pets friends that they adorned particularly the parrot Julia.
Only one small bad point which annoyed us at the arrival and departures, we had never been aware that the road to access the house was almost impracticable without a 4X4 which would not have been a problem if we had been aware of that before but unfortunately we arrived with small renting car and it was not suitable.
Aside that small point we have no complaint at all, it is a great house and we had a lovely moment. Very good house for big families or bunch of friends we went to be isolated above the Aegean sea.
I forgot one thing not to be missed the early sunrise it is just astonishing.
I will recommend anybody who want to have a rest of busy city and who wants to spend some time only with the elements, the sea, the wind, the natures, the local pets and the lovely greek food.
Thank you very much Chryssa. We will definitely come back if you have the occasion and found the suitable time. Ollivier CHENEL.
We, two families (3 adults, 5 youngsters), have rented the 'barn house' from Chryssa for 10 days. As the 'barn' was only very recently converted into a vacation house there was still some detail missing to make it fully ready. Therefore we got the nice opportunity from Chryssa to make use of her other 'stone house' for cooking and hanging around; the stone house is more luxury, cooler and bigger. Together with the stone house we could make use of the very nice swimming pool, chairs, .. which was a real nice occasion. The 'barn house' was good for sleeping (though a bit too hot sometimes) but not ready for cooking and in and around the house still some last accommodation or details need to be established. We are sure that with some effort the result will be as good, cosy and attractive as the very nice 'stone house'. The indoor architecture in the 'barn house' is very well considered and attractive. Question remains whether in the future occupants of the 'barn house' will be able to use the swimming pool together with occupants of the 'stone house'; for us the swimming pool was essential and great fun.
Chryssa is very responsive to any question and extremely helpful, before and during the stay; her driving instructions were very detailed; she did her utmost to help us deal with delayed luggage. Ilias, who takes care of houses and guests, is also extremely friendly and always available. Both made our stay as positive as possible. We recommend the 'barn house' (we suggest a max of 6-7 persons) and the 'stone house' (dependent on how many participants) for those who love exclusive location, wild nature in a remote place far away from mass tourism.

About the Host, Chryssa
I'm half-Greek, half-Brazilian, born in London. Currently live in Athens, and am trying to keep alive my dad's Aegean island villa, on Evia. I love the 'travel like a human' idea, and am planning a trip to India, on the way to Nepal to visit my family in Kathmandu. I've enjoyed hosting, and am now looking forward to being a guest.
I am clean, quiet and don't snore!
