  • Perfect for a weekend, thank you Lucas even if we didn't meet you.

  • Our stay in Luca's caravan was quite nice. We felt absolutly safe, there was no street noise and the Termini Metro station was in walking distance.
The carvan in general was clean, however I would not recommand to open the cupboards :). Heating, toilett and shower was working but the stove was broken. Moreover, we couldn't find some basic caravan equipment like glasses or a corkscrew to enjoy our Italian vine.
Overall, the caravan is a nice place to stay but don't expect to much. Luca was very friendly, thanks!

  • When we got there, we were a little sketched out to be honest. The first night was a bit unnerving with people walking by, cars driving by, etc. The second day we got a bit more perspective and got a little more familiar with the city, this actually helped a lot and that night (and the next 2 nights) we actually had a really good time in the Camper. It has everything you need even though some things are a bit run down. The stove works great. It has heat. It has a makeshift shower that gets really hot. There are many latches, odds and ends that are broken, but everything at least functions. I would actually recommend the experience if only for a few nights. Make sure you are not expecting a normal indoor hotel, hostel experience. This is not that. This is a unique experience that may take a night to get used to, but will perhaps surprise you. I will say that we never did quite feel that our stuff was totally secure in the camper, but Luca is willing to work with you on that. It also allowed us to save a ton of money on accommodations so were able to have a couple nice meals etc. with the money we saved. Mateo (Lucs's friend) was who we interacted with mostly and he was a great guy, very helpful. We met Luca briefly and he seemed really nice as well. Luca was generally easy to contact, flexible, and helpful.

  • Such a fun place to stay for young people! My friend Kristian and I stayed at Luca's apartment. It is within very short walking distance of Ostiense and Piramide stations, both of which can get you to and from either airport as well as the center of Rome. Relatively peaceful location. There is a bar across the street so it can be noisy at times. But definitely safe. A 15 minute bus ride from the neighborhood of San Lorenzo, where there are bars, clubs, and discotheques.
The room and the bathroom were both good. We were able to use the kitchen, which was awesome and saved us a lot of money. During our stay, a young German couple and 2 Russian women stayed in 2 of the other rooms. One night we all made dinner together and it was such a fun experience.
Luca actually wasn't there; he was out of town with his family, which we were not aware of prior to coming. But his friend Matteo met us at the station. Matteo is very cool. He got us acclimated, then took us out for a beer and a kebab. He was available if we needed anything. So it would have been nice to know ahead of time, but either way, Luca has cool friends and Matteo was extremely helpful.
A great value for the price, I would recommend this place!

  • This caravan is so small. We thought we could have a cool experience in Rome but it did not turn out well. The blanket was smelly. Worse, the caravan is so cold (heater did not work properly) However, considering the cost, I can´t complain more. 3 stars if you want to minimize the cost of the trip, 2 stars if you want a nice and great experience. Luca is a nice person btw.

  • We really enjoyed the stay at Luca's caravan! He parked it 15 minutes away from the Termini station near the university zone. When we first meet up he was late for 20 minutes but that was because he was doing some fixing on the Caravan's boiler. The caravan's boiler was broken, Luca offer for us to take shower at his apartment which is close to the Termini station, or move to another Caravan which is parked somewhere else. We chose to stay at the Caravan and shower at our friend's place instead. Luca was very friendly in introducing us to the area, recommending restaurants (VERY VERY good pasta restaurant called Osteria), transports and attractions that we can go to. The caravan is more spacious than we thought and fit the 4 of us very comfortably. Although the toilet is quite small and can be difficult to shower in even if there is hot water. Heater works well, although the Caravan can still get a bit cold at night. There is only 1 space for charging but we had no problem with that. Really enjoyed the experience. Thank you Luca!

  • Worst experience ever...

I was travelling with my 2year son and wife. I contacted Luca and asked explicitly if the caravan was ok for a child, that is: hot water, kitchen to cook, heater, toilette, etc. He assured me there was no problem...

Nothing in the caravan worked, no heater, no stove, no hot water... at 2:30am my family and I were freezing (about 2 degrees celsius), I was very worried about my son... I did not sleep all night trying to keep him warm... of the 3 days I had in Rome, this totally ruined 2 of them and we all got sick after that which hindered the rest of the trip.

  • The caravan is awesome!
It was located at Roma Ostiense railway station.
