The Caravan was small but totally sufficient for the two of us, with a small kitchen and a small bathroom where you can take a shower, not very easy but an experience :) a friend of Luca picked us up from the train station and brought us to the van, which was close to the station, and explained us all the functions and details in the van. And we could even stay one more night and they sent us messages if everything was all right, they were really really nice and helpfull :) it was a nice different and special stay for us! The only problem was that during that time Rome was full of mosquitos, so of course also in the van, but I think if you take some spray with you the problem is solved :) thank you for the nice time!
Luca`s 4 star something score sums up everything that is wrong with the 5 star rating system. Some people apparently expect the "nice place everywhere in Rome" to be some sort of a mansion and now Luca, the perfect host if ever there was one, has to live with a 4 in front of the comma for the rest of his days. The same people who rate Breaking Bad not a 10 on IMDB because they do not like Jesse Pinkman`s voice. Anyway, let me tell you how great a host Luca really is: being the worst guest in the world I get to Rome an hour late, because I confuse the departure and arrival times on my ticket like an idiot. No problemo. Guess who picks me up from the trainstation? Alright, not the man himself but his equally hospitable friend Alex. (Dude! I really hope I got your name right. I was too embarrassed to ask a third time.) After basically destroying Alex` Saturday evening, as we had to go back to the trainstation because I had not enough money on me (Alex didn`t even blink!) the guy teaches me another lesson in being nice and offers me one of the best beers I ever had. Out of nowhere. Whilst my next move would have been to stroll right back to the RV have a pizza and maybe touch myself, Alex directed me to a really chilled neighborhood with loads of beautiful people playing music on the streets. Thank you for everything guys. You are amazing! The caravan is the bomb, it`s spacious, clean and gives you the immediate feeling of being on holiday when you enter it.
It was a very nice experience sleeping in Luca's camper. We didn't meet him, but his friend Alex led us from Termini to right place, telling a lot about what we can do in Rome, where to eat and so on. The camper was really good, there was small shower but with HOT water and in a good condition, very nice beds and the neighbourhood was really quiet. There is only one electricity socket, but we had extension cord and it worked perfectly. For sure I can recommend that place for people who would like have a great adventure in Rome and don't care too much about having a lot of luxury :) Thank you Luca!
The caravan was close to Termini station. Not everything worked, but we still managed to feel very much at home there and would come again :)
We had a nice stay in the camper. It was parked in a quiet street and really close to the center. I would recommend it to people who like it cosy and minimalistic. The fridge doesn't work but there is a supermarket close by. If i come back to rome i will defenitly stay there again!
thank you very much for your help, luca! at that time my account was blocked so that i cant keep contract with him , we were like homeless people wandering on the streets in rome but final i uesd another account find him,he was working, luckily his friends came and helped us,thank again.
