The caravan was, I think, the place we stayed that I enjoyed the most in Rome. It was not really clean and everything was a bit broken but it was comfortable. It feels more like home than in an hotel. Sure the shower is not as good as in an hotel but just waking up with the warmth of the sun worth it. I never met Luca but his girlfriend was really a nice person :) I would stay there again !
The car is terrible, it's cold, not so clean and doesn't have enough place to charge. Of course there is no Wi-Fi. The toilet is awful, people can see inside through the window. Besides, I don't know how to flush the toilet and the shower place is very small with unstable water. It's hard to cook or shower on the car. But maybe it's all because Luca's friend didn't teach me how to use this car. I stayed at Luca's house for three days, but I don't live in car. The first day I slept on the couch of Luca's house because my friend's flight delayed. Luca thought it's not good to leave me alone on the car. So he suggested that I can stay at his couch. The couch is comfortable, Luca and his girlfriend are nice. The second day my friend and I are supposed to live on the car, but Luca doesn't have time to teach us how to use his car, so we live at his house again. It's great to live at house, but exhausting to change place in the raining day. The third day, because we don't want to stay on the car, we ask them if we can stay at their house for one more day with paying extra money. At first they say yes, but later they found that they already have other guest, so they offered us another place to live. The place is nice, but we have to move to new place again with our luggage in the raining day. It's really exhausting. Besides, Luca is very busy. The meeting time is unnegotiable, we only can coordinate his time. Overall the car is terrible but the house is good, but they kept changing place made our Rome trip very cold and exhausting.

Luca has been very nice and available, I would suggest to contact him first to confirm location, possible additional costs and other details that might change due to the mobile nature of the camper. The camper was generally clean although it could have used some deeper cleaning.
Muchas gracias chicos!!!! :)
First of all we had a brilliant time in Rome, me and my friend slept in the camper for 6 nights, it was funny to sleep in a camper in the middle of rome - but to be honest a lot of little things in the camper don't really work and you shouldn't book it if you are not used to a minimalistic lifestyle, it's not super comfortable, but the street is quiet (during the night) and it's safe enough...
So if you wish to only sleep in it it's fine, but cooking is not really easy in it (and no fridge) and also the bathroom is not really great...( also only one plug socket, a little smelly and dusty etc.)
The Location is brilliant though, close to University (were you can have a cheap breakfast in the morning), 5 min to Termini - which means actually you can easily get to everyplace in Rome quickly and 5 min to San Lorenzo were you can eat and go out at night!!!
So book it if you are not expecting a lot and if you're used to camping...the value for money is ok!

I am luca ,I am from Sicily, a beautiful island in the south of Italy.
Now I live in the Eternal city, I go around with my 30 years Vespa, I love night life, reggae and people.
And the sea! I am an island man, I love the sea, I love to spend hours underwater, I love to travel and to relax...
And my passion are percussions... I love the feelings that making music gives me! Sicily is almost Africa…
And obviously the caravan is one of many ways for traveling… I love it1
Life is just one and we must enjoy it!
