Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • For its location in the city, and proximity to amenities (grocery store, Metro stop), you won't be able to find anything comparable for the price. This is a quirky little top floor apartment in a converted 3-story home. It was clean, and had a newly-updated kitchen with gas stove, microwave, refrigerator, and all of the utensils and pots and pans that we needed. There is a brand new grocery store one block to the north, and the Convention Center Metro stop is about a block and a half to the south. As added bonuses, the apartment has wifi, and the owner installed a flat screen TV during our stay! The owner is available by cellphone and was very responsive when we had questions.

  • This place is idealy located in the heart of DC, very convenient! Plus, there is a new Giant right at the corner, so perfect.
Adreinne was really helpful and responded to all our questions. The check in and out was so easy because there's a special place for the keys, best idea ever.
The only thing this place is missing is a vaccum, I am a very neat person and since I stayed long (2weeks) I wished I could have one to clean up a bit. But other than that, everything was great!

  • Good location from the convention center!

This place is great- nice space, small building, nice and local feel. Very easy in/out with the host. I recommend it!

  • Awesome place. No TV which was a little disappointing, but whatever. It was 15 degrees outside and always nice and warm inside. Super close to the convention center which was super convenient for me. Yeah, super funky layout. I don't think I'd ever get used to those light switches, but (email hidden)'s an inexpensive, clean, stylish place right in the middle of DC.

  • Adreinne was a great host and we enjoyed our time at The People's Place. The location was really great -- a block from Giant grocery and a few blocks from the Metro at Mt Vernon/Convention Center. It had a cozy set up with a family room and kitchen, and we really had no issues with heat or any of the amenities. It is on the 3rd floor and only accessible by stairs. This is definitely worth your stay.

  • My stay at People's Place 3 was great. The apartment lay-out may seem a bit quirky but the place has everything you need for a short or long term stay in DC. It is close to the metro, which will take you downtown in mere minutes, but everything in downtown DC is also within 20-30 minutes walking distance.
The apartment was clean and Adreinne responded immediately to any issues and questions. All in all, a great base in DC.

  • Great place to stay while in DC. I had a conference, and this apartment is about as close as you can get to the conference centre.

Apartment is clean, spacious and in a relatively quiet neighbourhood. Groceries are a 10 min walk.

Close to Metro and BikeShare, which will take you around town, or you can walk also. 14th St bars/restaurants are only a 10 minute walk!

Thanks again for a great stay.

  • What a great little apartment - "quirky" is probably the right adjective. Nice location.

Adreinne was very responsive to my questions. Super host.

  • Had a great stay here. The stairs were a bit tight for my gigantic suitcase but all was good. This top floor apartment is bright and a perfect space. The neighborhood is good with everything you need in walking distance. Loved the lack of a TV and the on-site laundry!

  • This apartment is in a good location within walking distance of many restaurants and the metro. The bed was comfortable and the living room was spacious. The apartment is not as well maintained and equipped as it should be. However, we enjoyed our stay.
