  • We had a blast visiting family in Santa Cruz. Staying at Noreen's made it even more wonderful. Her studio is private, quiet, clean, comfy and in a beautiful neighborhood. We appreciated how everything was set up: the automated lights when we came in late, our own door lock code, a parking pass, etc. All of her instructions were clear and made everything so easy. We utilized her great restaurant suggestions and tips (ex: get there before 9 am or you'll have a long wait.) We met Noreen upon arrival but after that we were in/out and on our own.
Thanks so much, Noreen!! Sorry we missed you when we left.
We would definitely stay here again.

  • Noreen's place was great! I spent three nights there while visiting the area. It is very conveniently located for people interested in using the bus service and UC Santa Cruz shuttle service to get around. The bed is very comfortable, the area nice, and the tea, coffee, fruit, and biscotti provided were a nice touch.

  • The perfect description of this room is that it gives you a hug the moment you come in. Noreen has created a beautiful, comfortable, welcoming space - supreme quality experience. And Noreen is just cool - someone you want to meet at Verve for coffee! The room reflects her personality. The setting is lovely, the private entrance is nifty and we will definitely stay again.

    Response from Noreen:

We are delighted by your description of our room. It is exactly what we would hope our guests would feel upon entering… "a hug"! Thanks so much Deborah!

  • Noreen's suite is exactly as pictured and described. In a neighborhood of beautiful, exquisitely well-cared for homes, in close proximity to beaches and downtown Santa Cruz, the suite is private, spacious, very clean and well-maintained, brightly illuminated with skylights, cozy and comfortable with a big bed and scent-free natural fiber bedding, organic coffee, tea, cream, and fruit, and a much-appreciated small, clean fridge/freezer in the garage entry. Loved the convenience of the keyless/combination lock entry separate from her residence, which allows for guests and hosts to come and go without impacting each other, and close parking was always available. It felt like home. And Noreen is responsive, thoughtful, kind, warm, and considerate, which so added to the sense of peace and ease of being there. Highly recommended! Thank you, Noreen!
