Description

The space

Cozy and family-friendly flat. Ideal for families with small kids - beds to sleep in and toys to play with!

The apt. is 75 m2, located in a small private and quiet alley, with three rooms (bedroom, living room and a kitchen with dining-table) and a small bathroom with shower. The apt. has its own washing machine.

In the bedroom there is one double size bed (200 X 180 cm), a bunk bed with stairs (up till 10-12 years old) and a baby bed (120 cm long - up till 2-3 years old). Furthermore it's possible to make a bed on a madras in the living room for one more person. If so, please inform me.

In the kitchen we have two children dining chair and a small changing table.

You don't need to bring towels, as we will provide it for you.

Guest access

Via the rear entrance to the apartment there is access to a lovely backyard with playhouse, cars for children etc. You have access to grill for barbecuing.

You can enjoy your meal in the alley/passage, where you find benches and tables.

Interaction with guests

If you need tips about the local area, sightseeing or anything else, don't hesitate to ask. We would love to give you our recommendations.

The neighborhood

Just around the corner you have great restaurants and takeaway. I highly recommend Gravy (Øster Farimagsgade 31), 'Aamanns' at Øster Farimagsgade 12 where you find one of the best danish 'smørrebrød' (open sandwiches) and Meyes Deli at Classensgade 7 (only takeaway). All three are in the low prize index.
Just minuts away, along the chestnut trees, you'll find the local bakery 'Emmerys' (opens 7:00) at Øster Farimagsgade 39), which sells organic bread and cakes.
At Øster Farimagsgade you'll also find Riccos Kaffebar (Øster Farimagsgade 93)- great coffee and light food - and at Øster Farimagsgade 24 the café KH Clausen is a good and cozy place for burgers. For stronger liquids we'll suggest Søernes Ølbar (just across the lakes at Sortedam Dossering 83), with great local beer or Kruts Karport a whiskey bar, Øster Farimagsgade 12.

Getting around

The easiest way to get around is biking (you can use ours, but let us know if you need more than one). Otherwise you can take the metro or busses. But you are quiet close to the center, so walking is also a possible way to get around in the city.

You have only 1 km to Østerport Station and 1,3 km to Nørreport Station, where you can take the metro.

You are only:

- 200m from the lakes
- 400m from Øster Anlæg (where you'll find Statens Museum for Kunst - National Gallery of Denmark) and with playground
- 600m from Botanisk Have (The Botanical Garden)
- 750m from Fælledparken (where you'll find Parken - Denmarks National Football Stadium). In Fælledparken you also find a lot of playgrounds, where one of them is a water playground.
- 850m from Kongens Have ('The King’s Gardens' are the oldest royal gardens in the country)
1,1 km from Kastellet
- 1,2 km from Torvehallerne (A modern market with local food and specialeties)
- 1,4 km from Strøget (The Walking Street)
- 2 km from The Little Mermaid
- 3,3 km from Svanemøllen Beach

Other things to note

Copenhagen is a biking city, so you'll need some bikes. Therefore, we make sure that you have a bike! (if you need more than bike, let us know, and we will provide you one more)

I live in Copenhagen (Inner Østerbro) with my lovely wife Johanne and our two girls at age 6 and 2.
Great food, restaurants, culture in every shape (from architecture and design to people and music), reading and my family off course is the best I know ;-)
