Our beatiful family-run house is in Rome's lively beautiful historic area MONTESACRO Citta’ Giardino, surrounded by the natural Park of river Aniene. Through our Northern Ancient Roman Bridge Ponte Vecchio Nomentano many great persons have passed to Rome: Attilla, Charles the Great, Napoleon, Bolivar, and many-many more... It is a bright, 2-room separate house in nobile surrounding, green and silent, inside the garden of old villa (1926). It is fully furnitured with great taste and attention for details. The living room is equipped with fire-place and comfortable queen-size sofa-bed. the bedroom has a king-size bed. The bathroom has shower, WC and bidet. Kitchen with dining space is fully equipped. Other comfortable features: independent heating, air conditioner, TV LCD. WiFi, sheets, towels, cleaning prior to arrival, and after the stay are included in the price. Perfect for two persons, family with kids, group of friends etc (+2 persons for additional price). Gay friendy. Very good direct transport communication with the city center (bus 60, 90 and metro B1). Splendid garden with nice furniture, car place for free. Farmers' market, restaurants, bars, grocery store, pharmacy, hairdresser, bus stop nearby. Additional services: pick-up, multilingual tourist guide, languages: Italian, English, Russian, Lithuanian, Spanish.
We had a wonderful few days in Alisa's little house - too short a stay! The courtyard garden is lovely, the house is fine for two people and everything was very clean and well organised. The bottle of wine waiting for us was most welcome, and I have nothing but praise for the welcome we were given (being met at the station and taken back there at the end of our stay) as well as the rapidity with which our questions were answered. Alisa and her family are delightful and although the 30 minute bus ride to the centre was tricky at peak times (crowded!) the peace of the garden on our return easily made up for it.
Great place to stay, very spacious, clean and quiet. Alisa is wonderful, helped with all the questions we had and even left wine, coffee and snacks for us.
We used the metro to get to town, it takes 20-30 minutes to walk there. Bus might have been more practical, but we felt better using the metro :)
So if you want to stay in Rome, have a great host, a quiet big place and possibly breakfast/dinner in the garden...go here!
Alisa and Giovanni are perfect hosts: Not only that they offered us a lift from and to the trainstation, the more we were welcomed with a bottle of wine, fruit, everything for breakfirst, wunderful coffee and some sweets as well.
The house is cozy! It is very quiet, in a very nice, non-touristic nighbourhood, with lovely details and a great Patio to enjoy and relax after your day of sightseeing.
We enjoyed our stay definitly and can highly recomend it to everybody!
Everything you have heard about Rome and the fantastic history it brings can be mirrored by Alisa and her house. We absolutely loved it! What an open and helpful family. We arrived really late and they were there with open arms. They had a little gift basket and information for Rome. If there was an issue we had is that it is about a 20 minute walk from the closest metro but if you are not stubborn the buses are very efficient here. After booking in Prague, Berlin, London and Brussels this was the best house we have been in. The most beautiful and perfect little place I've seen. Book this place if you are going to Rome!!!
Bellissimo Alisa & Giovanni!
The garden apartment was absolutely delightful! The apartment is as gorgeous as it looks in the photos, was clean & tidy & very welcoming. There was a guest package of nice things & Alisa & Giovanni gave us information on local cafes, gelato etc. the apartment is convenient & close to public transport, supermarket, shops, pharmacy, post z& everything you could want! Thanks Alisa & Giovanni & I would definitely stay there again!
We could not have had a better experience at this wonderful garden flat. Alisa and Giovanni were so helpful and thoughtful. A welcome basket was waiting for us. It is impossible to describe this charming apartment. It is even better than the photos. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer...Next time.
Where to begin with these ever gracious hosts and their lovely garden apt! Alisa and Giovanni are such great people you want to take them home with you. Ever so helpful and thoughtful, they think of all those extras, like transport to and from the train station, goodies in the kitchen and wine for relaxing in the garden after a day of sightseeing. HIghly recommend and will stay at Casa Fiore. THANK YOU
Staying at a lovely house like Casa Fiore has great advantages to spending the night in a hotel, as I found during my visit to Rome last week (17-21 March). The weather was bad, very much rain, casa Fiore proved to be a real home to return to later in the day, having walked around under my umbrella most of the time. It offers much more space than a hotel room, you can prepare something to eat in the well-equipped kitchen. And it is peaceful there, a dood area, a twelve-minute walk to the bus, another thirty-five to the city centre.
The contact with Alisa and Giovanni was very good, just as with Anna, Giovanni's mother.
I sure hope to visit Casa Fiore again next October or November.

This house is perfect if you are looking for cosy romantic place close to the city center :) Alisa is the best host! And she will provide all the information about the city, transportation and the best places where to have dinner near the house.
The apartment is wonderful and in a lovely, quiet area. The garden is lovely and peaceful complete with two beautiful, sweet cats to watch. It is a short walk to anything you need and easy bus access to all parts of the city. Alisa is the perfect host. She was available to us if we needed anything. We are two older women traveling alone and we felt very safe and secure in this area. We had a wonderful time in Rome and would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone.
