  • This space was AMAZING! Lots of room! Includes a mini-fridge and microwave. There is a little bistro table. The bathroom, especially the shower, is awesome!

Martine is a fireball! She is so exuberant and friendly, you can't help but to fall in love with her! Your room opens out into a lovely garden. Martine has really done this up right! From a US standpoint, it feels like you're staying a private cabin rather than a BnB!

Martine is extremely helpful and will help you set an itinerary to see the town and the region.

Note: if you are arriving by train, Martine's house is on the OPPOSITE SIDE of TOWN from the train station. Be sure to get transportation from the train station to this location! Martine is gracious enough to offer you transportation for a nominal fee. There are also taxis available as is the bus system. If you're just backpacking, then it is no problem, because you get to have great views of the town and the Medieval City. However, if you have luggage, you'll want to get transportation.

  • We enjoyed staying at Martine's place, which is very convenient for visiting the old city in Carcassonne and so easy to find.
Martine is a lovely, friendly person and bursting with energy. She was most kind and helpful to us during our short stay with her. Although her place is close to a main road, noise was not a problem at night. I can thoroughly recommend Martine's to anyone wishing to stay in Carcassonne.

  • We spent two great days in this lovely place. Apartment is clean and comfortable with private bathroom and separate entrance. Martine is very hospitable and charming host with a lot of knowledge about most beautiful and delicious places in the city. Highly recommend!

  • The room is nice, with a comfortable bed, good shower and very close to the medieval city of Carcassone. It was a nice place to stay, we went to the medieval city and had dinner in one of the restaurants there and walked back to Martine's which was really enjoyable. Martine herself is happy to tell you where everything is in the area and is very helpful.

  • We booked the accommodation for our daughter and her boyfriend who wish to add the following review: we had an excellent stay. The b n b was easy to find and a short walk from the medieval city. The host was very friendly and informative. The accommodation was very nice with modern decor and good facilities.

  • Martine is an adorable Madoiselle. She treates us so good. Her family is twice adorable and her dog is awesome. We really liked staying at her place. Ubication to the old city is good. The night we stayed at her house there was a concert we attended. We were coming back and we got... a bit lost. And suddenly she accidentally appeared with her car and saved us! :)

  • Martine was very friendly, helpful, relaxed & accommodating during our stay. She assisted with transport to/ from the train for 20 euro fee. Room was a good size, with great shower & fridge 15 minute walk to ancient city, 25 minute to city centre. We had no issues with the safety of our belongings, but the lock to our room with direct access to the garden was broken was our only concern.

  • It was a joy to stay with Martine. She welcomed me and Tom with open arms. Her smile and energy made this a memorable trip. She encouraged us to enjoy as much as the city as possible and even gave us a ride to the lake which is a perfect spot for runners. She also has a friendly dog that's fun to play with. If you stay with her then please visit the bakery next door which has some of the best baked goods I've ever tasted.

merci à toi et à tom.. c était un plaisir de vous recevoir

  • We had a wonderful stay at Martines lovely ensuite bedroom. The room had great privacy next to her courtyard garden, with a very comfortable bed, a cute little stereo system and an excellent ensuite bathroom with a superb rain shower. Martine is a lovely warm fun lady and she has the most adorable sheepdog. All in all, it is a wonderful and very central place to stay when visiting Carcassonne. Thank you Martine.
