Mooie kamer!
We've been staying in the lovely nest room, it was as described, quite and comfortable, easy to find thanks to Apollonia's directions. The air condition was appreciated!
It was said we could have breakfast, there was nothing but cornflakes (no milk), nothing to drink nothing to eat, in other words no breakfast at all!
Our stay in Rome was very placent. Apollonia's apartement is beautiful and very confortable as shown in pictures. We recommend this place if you want to go to Rome.
The only thing was that we couldn't have constant communication with Apollonia, because she doesn't stay at the apartment and the only way is by mobile chat. So, you will need wifi if you don't have roaming or internet access.
Great communication, accurate description, comfortable and clean
Very clean, tidy and comfortable place to live in when you're in Rome! Even though this place is abit of a distance from the city centre, it is only one bus away !
Although we enjoyed Rome, there were many problems with our stay.
1. Communication: Before we arrived, Apollonia responded to messages quickly and provided good directions. Starting the first day of our 4 day/3 night stay, she stopped responding, even when the problems were imminent.
2. Promised Amenities: (A) breakfast-There was no breakfast, just dry cereal with no bowls. On our last day, Apollonia's brother came by and explained that city laws do not allow it (but it is still listed on the site, which is on of the reasons I had chosen this room); (B) Free parking- we were not given information our access to the garage beneath our building, so we parked on a nearby street. Someone hit our car and created damages that we will have to pay for in our rental car. A market ran from 3-20 on Sunday in the neighborhood even though there are no signs staying this on the street, so we would have been stuck on our check out day (our host knew we were coming with a car but never gave this information, even when I asked specifically about parking and issues about the car); (3) Necessary items- there was no showering items provided. There was no toilet paper for 24 hours.
3. Cleanliness: our trash was never removed for 4 days. The shared bathroom was dirty, especially the floor. Even after a cleaning person came om our 3rd day, another person's hair was still on the bathroom floor and tub. There were ants in the bathroom. The streets were littered with trash throughout the neighborhood. A person renting the other room smoked in their room, which made our room unpleasant.
We had trouble getting change for the city tax- it would be helpful if that were included as a charge through air bnb. This was the first bad experience we have had with a host. I remained positive in all communications with the host, but my concerns were never addressed.

Airbnb is another new challenge (I started since April). Through Airbnb I really discovered a new way of Travelling.... and beeing a professional it's extremely interesting to me in discovering the world and the pepole through this website.
I'm a hard worker, but the biggest joy of my life is my son of only 21 months, he gives all the strenghts to face the challenges that life brings to me.
