This was our firs time with Airbnb en we would book again! We had a lovely time in Rome. The room we had was the Lovely Green Nest en is exactly the same as on the photos. We didn't met Apollonia, but the communication was perfect. We knew exactly how to walk to the room, because of the information from Apollonia. The room is near to the heart of Trastevere. A really nice place with loads of bars en restaurants. Everything in the room en bathroom is clean, so a good price for a nice room.
This is a really affordable and secure room to stay at it Rome. The room was very clean and had plenty of space to put away my travel belongings. Although I did not personally meet Apollonia, her communication back through the airbnb messages were quick and helpful. Her maintenance guy, Danielle was very nice, however he only speaks Italian or Spanish...(thank you High School Spanish classes!). He even offered to taxi us very early in the morning at 5:00AM to the airport when public transportation was not yet up and running. This helped us out so much. It cost 50 Euros, but for the distance and convenience it is completely worth it.
The neighborhood of Trastevere was relatively close to the main attractions of Rome. We were able to walk to the Colosseum and even to Vatican City. Public transportation such as train or bus is available to and from these places as well, however it was nice to walk to the main attractions to see everything in between.
This bedroom was one of two bedrooms in the apartment. The other bedroom was vacant the first night we arrived, but another couple arrived and stayed there for the remainder of our stay. We shared the bathroom with them which worked out well, however if you want your own private bathroom then keep this in mind. We did not interact too much with the other guests since our schedules were different but it all worked out in the end. The other room of the apartment included it's own private kitchenette with a sink which we did not have access to, but the main entry room of the apartment included a small fridge, table, and an electronic coffee maker that we had access to at any time. Cereal for breakfast was included, however you do have to purchase your own milk just like some of the other reviews had stated. This was not so much an issue for us and gave us the opportunity to venture over to the local market. Overall I enjoyed the stay here and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for an affordable room in Rome.
Thank you Julie for your kind descriptions for the services your received and your positive feelings while in the apartmnet. It is indeed very important. As for cereal and the rest you found in the kittchen corner, please note that although you found the basis for self made breakfst, it was all without any special charge on you. consder it a gift.
As the water boiler in the bathroom, Unfortunately we have the biggest thatn can be privided in the apartmnets 80 liters, of hot water.
Buona accoglienza. Zona comoda, vicina sia a Trastevere, sia a Testaccio. Comodi i mezzi sia per il centro che per la stazione. Letto confortevole. Bagno migliorabile.
The lovely green nest is lovely indeed. Nice and clean, like the rest of the apartment. Though we didn't meet Apollonia, she gave us all the information we needed and was very kind. We met Daniel, the maintenance guy, who looks like a very good person! The other guests of the house were great to live with, our stay was very pleasant!
The apartment is in a good location, in walking distance from Trastevere and Testaccio (perfect for a night out!). It takes 5 minutes walking to get to viale di Trastevere where there are several buses and the tram to get to the rest of Rome.

I'm a 40 years Italian woman: Because of my family origins, since small I got acquainted with EAst -European countries and with the United States of America.... so my passions are spread all over the world as my relatives.
Since very little I travelled very frequently, studied languages (I speak 5 languages) and I can not imagine my life without Travelling and meeting people from all over the World.
My studies were in Tourism, after working for some big Tour Operators in Rome, 4 years ago I opened my own business...... and I have to say yes it's difficult but it gives me I big personal satisfaction it's a constant challenge.
Airbnb is another new challenge (I started since April). Through Airbnb I really discovered a new way of Travelling.... and beeing a professional it's extremely interesting to me in discovering the world and the pepole through this website.
I'm a hard worker, but the biggest joy of my life is my son of only 21 months, he gives all the strenghts to face the challenges that life brings to me.
You are wellcome to my apartment. I strongly believe in the positive way of thinking, till now I met almost all fantastic people; it seems that my apartment attracts very positive persons.
I'm really satisfied of this experience with AIRBNB.
