Welcome. This is a traditional Bali villa with thatched roof, and open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The views overlook the airport, Jimbaran coastline, and on a clear day the Gunung Agung volcano. Guests love the proximity to the beach.

Interaction with Guests
As always, we're there to help you get settled in. If you need a phone SIM card or help organising transport during your stay, just ask. We'll give you a few tips on some of the nice spots to eat and relax. We see guests as an opportunity to share some culture. Ask whatever you'd like to know about Bali and we'll probably ask a few about your hometown as well.
Our area has a nice mix of authentic Balinese village life with comfortable/stylish modern services. There's traditional village markets, temple ceremonies and a large seafood market right on the beach. It's home to three large luxury hotels including the Four Seasons, Intercontinental, and Ayana. Shopping and dining are easy, there's a boutique mall within walking distance with fashion boutiques, restaurants, and massage. We're located about 15 mins from Kuta and 20 min to Seminyak.
Guests are just a five minute drive to the sandy beach of Jimbaran and less than 15 minutes from the airport.
Our area is famed for the most beautiful beaches in Bali. Balangan, Jimbaran, Uluwautu, and Padang-Padang. Surfers worldwide visit our area for top waves. Beach lovers will enjoy the crystal clear lagoons, sandy beaches, smiling locals and abundant sun.
Taxis are plentiful and cheap. If you're looking to cover a few spots in a day, consider hiring a car/driver. It's quite affordable. If you're more adventurous, we also have motorbikes with helmets. They're the most natural and carefree way to explore the island.
Other Things to Note
Wifi is not always the best here in Bali. It's on and off. Sometimes there's power-cuts as well. Give us a buzz, we'll help where we can.
Respect the house, respect the staff. Nothing makes us happier than happy guests.
Great staff and super accommodating. They were there to do everything from cook breakfast to book plane tickets for us. If there was something we were not happy with they changed it immediately. They really value customer satisfaction. One of the aircons was not very cold so they immediately bought a new one and installed it the very same day, wow. The view from the place is great, the pool is a huge winner and the architecture is old, beautiful balinese style. If you are looking to stay in a modern place with flat screen TVs you may miss the mark here. Book this place if you want to make some memories in an older and traditional Balinese style villa. My family and I stayed here for three days and had great time.

Bali-fornia: Jing is from California and Wayana is from Bali. Our family loves travel, our island, and our doors are open to fun-loving travelers.
Hi there. I worked at Airbnb for Indonesia market development. I go between Singapore and Bali. My wife and daughter will most likely be hosting you.
I studied at Berkeley and came out to the real world with an engineering degree in the (website hidden) crash of 2000. I worked in a nuclear physics lab, wrote C++ code, and then I took off to travel the world for two years. I meandered across Asia and Latin America. When I came to Bali, I stopped traveling but didn't go home. Bali was my new home. I met the perfect girl, she was Balinese and very pretty. I took her to dinner and missed my flight. I ended up staying on the island.
Jing and I have been married since 2007 and we have a young daughter Eka. Just ask and we'll be happy to take you to see hidden beaches, underground parties and off-the-beaten path things to see/do in Bali. We hope you'll share a few interesting tid-bits about yourselves as well.
Our favorite thing about hosting is getting the feeling of traveling without leaving Bali. Getting to experience a guest's culture and background is something we enjoy a lot. We make a point to meet each guest and get to know them a bit. Each guest is different and unique, we try 'feel' what you're in the mood for and go from there.
