Check In
  • Naomi & Bruce were very welcoming and accommodating during our stay. They made sure that we had everything we needed. The room was great is was neat, homey, and comfortable. They also sent us off with some of their home made hot sauce to try. Would highly recommend the place to anyone that is looking for a place to stay!

  • Naomi made sure that we were comfortable. The room was great. Very neatly kept, and homey. When we were preparing to leave Naomi and Bruce sent us off with two bottles of their (great) homemade hot sauce. Overall, a superb experience. Two wonderful people, I tell you!

  • My friend, Joanna, and I stayed at Naomi's place for one night while in town to see Wicked.
Naomi was great in communicating with us prior to the trip. We knew what to expect. When we arrived, Naomi and Bruce were getting ready to go to a Halloween party and it felt like we were visiting old friends! We felt welcome and safe in their home. We were shown our room and got our key. We had to dash out to catch the show before we had time to really chat with our hosts.
The house is undergoing renovation and I think it will be beautiful when it's done. The bathroom is great and the little heater provided in the room really kicked in during the night and warmed up the room - it almost got too hot for us, and I had to turn it down early in the morning.
The house is located one block from 39th street so there are a lot of dining options & cafes. 39th street is really cute and we're bummed we didn't get a chance to explore it. The hosts do have pets (very friendly & well behaved), as listed on the website.

  • Naomi was very welcoming, accommodating, and helpful! She even drove me to get the best BBQ in town. It was a quick stay, but I felt very welcomed. Her place is near a bunch of great shops and restaurants, too.

  • Naomi was a great hostess and even welcomed our dog! The room was quite comfortable and their neighborhood in Kansas City was completely charming. Would definitely go back!

    October 2013
  • Naomi and her husband Bruce are very gracious hosts. I regret that I was so busy with the wedding I was in town to attend that I didn't have more time to chat with them! The room is clean and comfortable (the twin beds are nice if you are traveling with a friend) and within walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants on 39th Street. Their home is close to interstate 35, Westport and the Plaza as well.

  • Naomi was a very gracious host. While their home is iin the midst of a full rehab, the bedroom we stayed in was comfortable and the private bath across the hall was as beautiful as it was well equipped w/ towels, toiletries and spotlessly clean.

Naomi was generous in offering the use of her family room for TV, and the kitchen for food prep. If you like BBQ, ask Naomi about the gas station restaurant - it is close by and worth every second you might have to wait.

There are pets (two dogs and a cat) in residence so if you have allergies be forewarned.

Naomi and her husband are both Doctors - he a resident is surgical medicine and she in research, they are often @ work so you'll often have the place to yourself for the bulk of the day/evening.

Their location is good, and the downtown and the downtown area isn't much more than a 15 min. drive.

  • Naomi was a great and friendly host and our stay was wonderful! She was really accommodating with our early arrival and helpful in giving advice on what to do in KS City.

    August 2013
  • We enjoyed our stay in this house. Good location, nice house, great hosts, easy parking, flexible check in and check out.

The mentionned renovations did not affect our stay: the room, the bathroom, the living room and the kitchen are over and are pretty nice.

  • It was a pleasure to stay at Naomi's! Good location, parking was easy, house is wonderful and great hosts. Highly recommend this place!
