This is a beautifully restored Colonial house in the historic center of Salvador Brazil. The house has three balconies with the best views to all the island and bay from Salvador. We are a short five minute walk to the Pelourinho where all the museums, churches, and famous nightlife can be found. Within seconds of walking outside the house you can find charming cafes, bars, and a small market. We offer wifi and use of the laundry machine in our price.
We will offer many ideas on what to see and do in Salvador. We know many other places in Bahia as well so will be happy to answer any and all questions. Tell us more about yourselves and we'll do our best to recommend things more specifically to your liking.
Some things to know about the house:
One room is down two flights of stairs so while this means you will have a lot of privacy, please consider the accessibility. The private bathroom for that room is on the top floor.
Wifi is available throughout the upstairs but unfortunately doesn't reach the room downstairs.
We have brand new pots and pans! And lots of cooking equipment..

HWe had a awesome time in salvador de bahia and christopher was well-organised and had loads of recommends to visit for us two girls. The place was safe and people there were friendly so that we felt as we were long time spending time there. Close to the flat is a cafe which is a must to go there to eat brownie with cappuccino. And de beach barra was nice too. All in all its a place to visit..
I had in general a great experience visiting Salvador and particularly Christopher and Rafaela's house. The House is indeed very beautiful, it has the best location in Salvador if what you are looking for is a glance of ordinary Salvador life, as opposed to a high-rise hotel lifestyle. Asides from that, it does have indeed an incredible view of the port, one that any coffee shop, restaurant or bar would cherish (indeed, there are several bars and restaurants neighboring the house.
The house was clean, well taken care of and a joy to be in.
Chris and Rafaela are really good hosts, always available and helpful for ignorant visitors (like me).
I highly recommend staying with them, you'll have perhaps the best introduction to Bahía, its cultures, food, music, etc.
