The space
The quality and attention to detail is unmatched in this designer cabin. With floor-to-ceiling grand living room window the cabin invites you outdoors! La Vista Cabin is an open-concept home with a large cozy living room and high wooden ceilings, an exposed stone fireplace, and plenty of comfortable seating so groups and families can gather together. The cabin features aesthetic black features and gold accents with modern light fixtures and decor. Featured in Pocahontas County top cabins!
INDOOR LIVING:
20 foot grand window overlooking the mountains, 2,400 sqft of living space, 1 Smart TV! Bedroom one: king bed. Bedroom two: queen bed and fold out couch. Bedroom three: twin, full and queen.
Board games, 2 reading nooks/workspace, and a private view/deck area in the master suite. There is a washer and dryer available for use in the laundry closet with access to iron and ironing board. Towels, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper and hair dryer are also provided for your visit.
All three bedrooms include memory foam mattresses and pillows. The love seat in the master bedroom also pulls out as a twin bed.
OUTDOOR LIVING
La Vista awaits you with a wrap around porch or be led straight away to our Mountain View’s found in our open backyard. Our backyard has side to side deck complete with our favorite amenity, our hot tub. Find yourselves roaming the property, take a walk on our 7 acre land and be led to our fire pit with outdoor seating. Enjoy s'mores under the stars. Garage parking available during winter season.
KITCHEN:
Dishwasher, microwave, gas stove, refrigerator without ice machine. Stocked with pots, pans, utensils, cleaning supplies, dishware (including child-safe dishes and utensils); toaster and blender. The dining area has seating for 6 and offer a high chair.
GENERAL:
WiFi, fire pit with lawn chairs, heater/air conditioning, ceiling fans in all three rooms.

Guest access
Guests have full access to the property. This includes the main floor, upper and lower back patio that leads to the hot tub, two car garage, yard area, surrounding 4-acre wooded area.
Please let us know if you have any special check-in needs. We will always try to accommodate guests whenever possible to ensure you have a memorable stay at La Vista Snowshoe!
Other things to note
Please when coming use the entrance located near the bridge and don’t come thru where GPS is directing you to go. Late check-ins after 6pm need to be approved.
The cell phone coverage in the area is weak, AT&T and Verizon are best on getting service. WiFi is provided and WiFi extensions have been installed for better connection.
Please know we completely respect your privacy, no indoor spaces are monitored, only the outside area, the front and side of the home. Cameras are there for safety.
If snow is in the forecast, driving conditions may vary. Please check the weather forecast before coming out, chains are needed during heavy snow.
Direction to cabin must be put into GPS, recommended to have at least one other person to have the GPS direction on their device as well. Cell phone connection is typically lost getting to the cabin but GPS will continue to work. Local stores have WiFi incase you lose GPS connection.
