The Garden Gateway apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood near two main highways which provide statewide access. You can be anywhere in Albuquerque or Santa Fe in under an hour.

The apartment has two bedrooms, a kitchenette with microwave and fridge, a dining/work area, and a full bath with a shower/tub combo. It is part of the house, and the owner is on premises.

The apartment has parking for one car and a private side entry. There is a small outside sitting area near the entrance.

The space
The apartment is comfortable and quiet with two bedrooms with doors for privacy. There is plenty of storage in the large closets and bureaus in each space.

The apartment has a separate entrance with keypad access.

Guest access
The entire apartment is available to our guests, with keypad access to the space. The apartment is part of the house, but is entirely private.

Other things to note
Many guests have commented on the comfortable apartment and the quiet and safe neighborhood. The house is within two blocks of a fire station. The apartment is part of a house, so the owner is on site should any needs arise.

They also like the easy access to the rest of the state via Rt. 550 which runs north to Colorado, and I 25, which runs north to Santa Fe and Taos, and south to Albuquerque and beyond.

There are many parks and outdoor entertainments within a half hour's drive.

Neighborhood highlights

You will be staying in a quiet, middle class community close to shopping, restaurants, a native casino and historic sites with a nearby park for walking. Our part of Rio Rancho is adjacent to the Santa Ana Pueblo and casino, the Rio Grande and the town of Bernalillo, which is one of, if not the oldest, town in the state.

The Coronado Historic Site is within minutes of our neighborhood, which was the northernmost location visited by Francisco Coronado in the 1500's in his quest for the seven cities of gold he mistakenly believed was in the Rio Grande Valley. The ruins of the Kuaua pueblo can be seen at the site, along with a restored kiva. A bit further on is the quirky town of Placitas from which you can access the Cibola National Forest trailhead and the Sandia Mountains.

You can also take a train from Bernalillo to Albuquerque and Santa Fe. The neighborhood is 30 minutes to the Jemez Mountains, the Jemez Pueblo, and numerous state parks including a caldera. If you love the outdoors, this is for you.
