This apt owner is living not so far from this apt.
You can contact with them through me, 'cause they don't speak English. However it would be not so difficult to communicate with them. They are very kind and nice people.
But I need a few days to ask them if they are available to host you at their apt and get answer from them, so please send us the reservation early enough (at least a couple of days) so that we can have time to welcome you.
I live very far from this apartment so I won't see you except for an emergency case. But you can feel free to contact me about everything what you need during your staying. So I will try to make you comfortable as much as possible.
My main listing is Guestroom #1 & 2@English Place Eigokko. If you are a single traveler and would like to feel the warmness of family including a lot of animals, we will welcome you.

This place was inexpensive and perfect for our short stay in Fukuoka. There's a bus stop not too far from the apartment that takes you down to all the major tourist spots. We didn't meet the owner until the last day when we were checking out, but she was very kind and even helped us find a taxi (the phone app that we were trying to use to request a taxi wasn't working out so well). I would stay here again if I were in Fukuoka.
You also get to sleep in a loft, which is pretty awesome in itself. I mean, how often do you get the opportunity to sleep on futons in a loft in Japan?
House is far from Tenjin. (By bus 30 minutes) But House is so nice and clean. Village is silent. Easily go to Ropponmatsu and Nishijin, Fukuoka dome. Thanks so much. See you again.
Sumire was accommodating and quick to respond, the apartment was nice, in a convenient location and nice neighborhood.
It was a good experience to stay at this apt. And most importantly, Sumire is a super kind and super good host. Thanks again Sumire!
I and my wife stayed at this apartment for one night in December 2012.
This apartment is ideal for couples, or backpackers who travel in group. The place might look small at first but you get everything you need: toilet, shower & a small bath tub, air conditioning, a cozy loft where there's plenty of space to sleep, and a small living space. There are spare futons for additional travelers, so this is a great deal for groups.
The location is a bit far from the city center. But there's a 24h supermarket about 5 minutes away. A bus stop is right across the street from the supermarket as well.
We rented a car so the location was not much of a problem. If you arrive with a car, you'll find a parking space right behind the bus stop and opposite of the supermarket (about 500yen / night).
The owner was very kind and showed us around. The place was nearly perfect, except for two small things:
- Internet access. There's no internet access or free wifi spot that we know of. Fortunately we use Softbank mobile service and can tether our mobile internet connection.
- Cooking utensils and kitchen facilities. The place was not furnished with any tools to cook or to boil water. The owner was kind enough to prepare us some hot water but it was not enough for us to make some noodle in the morning, and we didn't find any electric pot there. If you plan to stay long term, you won't be able to stay in and cook.
However, if you ask the owner ahead of time, you might get some help, as she's very kind and gentle.
I and my wife had a great time staying at the place. Despite some minor shortcomings, it was a very warm and clean apartment and we felt like home.
