We received a warm welcome in Olga's house.
The room was satisfactory, with basic needs.
Olga is always prepared to provide information about the sights in Leuven.
The train station, restaurants and shops are in walking distance.
I was visiting Leuven with my husband because he had a conference at the university. The room was conveniently located and suited our needs in that way and Olga was very nice, however we didn't realize that we'd be sharing the house with a large family. Everyone was cordial, but it made using the shared bathroom a little difficult. I probably should have asked more questions when booking the room.
I would highly recommend Olga's house. The room is large and comfortable, with a sofa, desk and chair, and table and Olga is a warm and generous hostess who will see to your every need and make you a wonderful breakfast. The house is in a nice area on the outskirts of town but a bus stop and a train station are a few minutes walk. Better yet, Olga will rent you a bicycle for a small fee. My only negative comments are that the house is somewhat doggy and dusty.
My stay with Olga had been nothing but wonderful. The room is really spacious and the bed is comfortable. It provided me with good night sleeps that I desperately needed after coming back from a day out in the city.
The house is about a 5-minute walk from the Heverlee train station, from where one can take a 3-minute train to the Leuven Central Station. If you prefer walking, it's about a 40-minute leisurely walk to the heart of Leuven.
Also, loved the breakfast!
I enjoyed my stay at Olga's place. The room was quiet, and Olga was helpful and friendly. I would take the room again if it ever happens that I return to Leuven.

About the Host, Olga
I grew up in Russia, Moscow, then I lived for a long time in Ottawa, Canada and Japan, because my husband was working there. Now I live with my family for 10 years in Belgium. I have a Belgian citizenship too. I got used to meeting people from different countries and different backgrounds. I am friendly, open-minded, interested in alternative medicine, art, gardening, astrology. I play chess and fond of Italian and Asian cuisine. I like going to Paris and London to see good quality shows, opera's and ballets.
As a host I strive to make my guests feel at home and be 100% satisfied with their visit. I am always ready to share with them any information available to me about Belgium, its towns and cities, Leuven University and other places of interest.
