Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Valasay Cottage is where you want to stay. Cross the footbridge to a place of tranquility. It's not completely quiet, because the tidal Tòb Bhalasaigh means there is the sound of rushing water, and the garden is full of birds and bumblebees. Red-throated divers often call while flying over and cuckoos might make themselves heard. But that's about all you can hear.

The space
Two bedrooms, one with a king-sized bed and one with two singles. The kitchen is spacious, this is where you eat and discuss which beach is the most beautiful. The lounge with view of the garden has a TV and a fireplace, ideal to sit and learn what relaxing is in Gaelic. The bathroom has a bathtub / shower.

Neighborhood highlights

Tob Bhalasaigh is designated as a priority site of special scientific interest as a sheltered lagoon with a rare mixture of seaweeds only found in this unusual mix of salt and fresh water. Otters and seals are frequently seen, both in the Tob and along the seashore.
