The Lazy Daisy is an awesome lakefront home, with high ceilings and windows that boast natural light and wonderful Nolin Lake views! Just a short drive to Mammoth Cave, Blue Holler ATV park, and the state parks at Nolin Lake. This house is so spacious with 5 bedrooms, 3 baths, and additional bunks/beds in the basement. Take a walk down the nice easy slope to the lake for a swim. Gather around the fire pit for some delicious s'mores, or gather inside and play ping-pong and other family games!

The space
This spacious house has three floors so there is plenty of room to spread out and do different activities, or gather together and have loads of fun. The main floor has an open style living room and kitchen with large windows to view the lake. The main floor has a master bedroom with king size bed and en-suite bath, and a second king bedroom, hall bath, and laundry room. Upstairs is another bedroom with king size floor bed. In the basement, there is a recreation room with ping-pong table, bunk beds, futon, and a toy/game closet. There are two more bedrooms downstairs with queen size beds and another bathroom. There are smart TVs in each bedroom, as well as the living areas.
The extra large patio is an awesome place to gather, picnic, and enjoy the views! There is a stone fireplace to enjoy on cool nights. We have a propane gas grill to fix some BBQ delights. There is also a set of corn hole boards for extra play time with family and friends! On the sun deck, you can relax on a set of zero gravity loungers.

Other things to note
Nolin Lake is owned by the US Corp of Engineers and is used for flood control. The water level is raised and lowered as needed. The lake can be accessed walking down a path and entering from the shoreline, which depending on lake levels, can be steep and some guests might find it difficult.

You will see some boat docks at the lake below the house. These are private docks and cannot be used by visitors. Boat parking at the docks is no longer available as the Corp of Engineers restricts rented properties from using a permitted boat dock.

BOAT RAMPS: There is a boat ramp at the end of the road, about 1/2 mile from the house with a parking lot. There is also a larger boat ramp at the dam about four miles away.
At Nolin Lake State Park, which is about 7 miles away, there is another ramp, picnic area, beach, and some cool trails. So, there are many options here.

There is a convenience store, Salings Grocery, with gas and food 3.5 miles away, as well as a Dollar General store in about 6 miles. Please note: the cabin is in a dry-county area (no alcohol sales). Please plan accordingly.
