Welcome to our fresh cottage high up in Fulufjellet's cabin area in Ljørdalen, Trysil municipality, overlooking both the beautiful valley and towards the mountains.
Both cross-country skiing and alpine skiers can start at the cabin and reach either a large track area incl. Ryskdalen tracks or the slalom slope with eight descents and a long toboggan run.
Would you rather be indoors, there is TV, Wi-Fi & fiber or you can just enjoy the crackling fire.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept pets due to allergies.

The space
The cottage has underfloor heating in the hall, bathroom and kitchen/living room. If needed, there is a movable heater.

Downstairs there is:
- bedroom 1 with double bed and two bedside tables,
- bedroom 2 with bunk bed and large closet,
- small storage room with cleaning supplies, drying rack, etc.
- bathroom with toilet, sink, shower, washing machine as well as cabinets and drawers,
- kitchen/living room with corner sofa bed, coffee table, TV, fireplace, wood basket, two armchairs with footstools, kitchen table with six chairs

The lower floor also offers a generous hall with hat and shoe shelves, a shoe dryer and a drying cabinet. From the hall, a staircase leads up to the upper floor, where there are three single beds, a workplace (desk with chair and table lamp) and some extra chairs.

Outside the cabin itself, there is an outdoor storage room with, among other things, fuse cabinets and water shutters.

* You need to bring your own bed linens and towels. However, it is possible to rent bed linens for NOK 150 per person. Please report this as soon as possible after booking.
* Cleaning is done by you as a guest, but final cleaning can be purchased for NOK 1,700 if both floors have been used, or NOK 1,400 if only the lower floor has been used. Report the purchase of cleaning as soon as possible after booking. 🧹🪣If you clean yourself, please clean carefully, so that even the next guest feels welcome :-). Thanks in advance!

Where you’ll be

Ljørdalen, Trysil, Norway

Quiet and nice cottage area with walking distance up to Fulufjellets National Park, with its amazing stone staircase, leading up the expansive mountain.

In spring, summer and fall, there are many nice hiking/running trails to choose from. Please visit the nearby, beautiful waterfall Bråtafallet! Late summer and fall also offer berry picking on nearby marshes and in the forests. The cottage has maps to borrow during the stay.

In winter there are lots of cross country tracks nearby (about 60 miles), which can be connected directly from the plot boundary. The track system is connected to Ryskdalen, which is a great trail area on the way to Østby, where, among other things, Trysil Skimarathon is held in February.

If you go alpine, it is ski in ski out from the cabin to Fulufjellet Alpinsenters downhill with eight slopes and in addition, Norway's longest slope. At the slalom slope there is a restaurant, disc golf course as well as a bike lane.

Down in the village of Ljørdalen there is a Coop shop, interior design shop (Kulör), gym and petrol machine.

Me and my family is living outside Borlänge, Sweden. We like to be out in the nature and to play sports and then mainly cross-country skiing and orientation. We had to build the cabin at Fulufjellet for the opportunity to get close to magnificent mountain environment, nice hiking and running trails in the summer and good ski tracks in the winter.
