The space
Built in 1896, this wonderful 2 bedroom, 1 bath home is like a cottage in the city - fully furnished, roomy, cozy and quiet. It's conveniently located on the near eastside of Madison about a mile from the Capitol, two miles from the UW-Madison campus, directly on the commuter bike path, and within a short walk to the Willy St. Food Co-op, great restaurants, cafes, bakeries and bars.

There are 3 beds: a queen and a twin bed upstairs, and a full size downstairs. A cedar-lined study with lots of storage leads to a balcony that overlooks the fenced-in backyard with two big swap white oaks - perfect for your morning coffee and evening cocktail. Free, off-street parking. WiFi is included. Cable TV is available at the guest's expense.

The house is nestled in the heart of our friendly, safe and hip Williamson Street neighborhood and close to several summer festivals, Concerts on the Square, Wheels on Willy Bike Races, the Iron Man Triathalon, and the downtown Saturday Farmer's Market. Plus, you are right in between Lakes Monona and Mendota for summer sailing, fishing or sunset walks, or for ice skating or a pickup hockey game (with a warming shelter and ice skate rental).

No cats. Dogs are allowed. The backyard is fenced in.

Madison Metro bus stops within a block and Trek's B-Cycle rent-a-bike is located within 1 block.
