The Nest is really cozy and comfortable, as Karen described. You can't find a better place in the same price.
This is the second time I have stayed in Karen's "nest." It was as wonderful as the first time: I shall always try to arrange my Phoenix travel for times when Karen's room is available. Karen has created a really comfortable space with every amenity!
Karen's 'Nest' is fantastic! It is a lovely, converted section at the back of her house, with its own entrance. We really enjoyed staying there! It is very clean, beautifully decorated, and includes a 4-poster queen bed and charming bathroom as well as a walk-in closet. Karen is a terrific host & she provides many nice touches for her guests, including a mini-fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker with coffees & creams/milks & bottled water. She even left us a bottle of wine to try! Karen's house is well-situated in Phoenix, easy to find & close to downtown & the airport. We highly recommend it and would be happy to stay there if we are in the area again.
The room was great. Whenever i return to the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, the Nest is the first place I will try to book.
My 2 year old, husband and I had a very comfortable stay at The Nest. The location is perfect for getting to central Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe. The place was clean and has all the important conveniences you need. I would recommend this place to anyone.
This was my first time using Airbnb, Karen made it so easy and convenient for us! The Nest is well maintained and more beautiful and up-to-date, better then any hotel room (which were double the price!). Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality Karen, we will be back if ever traveling through Phoenix again!
Everything was absolutely perfect. Quiet and very peaceful. Room is gorgeous and well stocked. Nice lights at night. Very convenient shopping in the area. Awesome places to explore just a couple of miles away. Hike all morning and take in baseball in the afternoon. Better than any hotel I have stayed at.
About the Host, Karen
I like to hike, ski, drink coffee, listen to live music, camp, read etc. I enjoy meeting new people and hosting! I have two kids that are with me part time. I love to travel but have been limited in that area as of late so I thought maybe I could bring the travelers culture to my doorstep instead! I have lived in this area for 22 years and have a great appreciation for the desert.
As a host I hope to provide you with a comfortable stay. I am easy to talk to so if you need something, just ask and I will do my best to accomodate. (within reason of course!)
So I am being asked if I have a life motto.....I guess it would have to be something like, "don't sweat the small stuff".
So there you go! I hope to meet you in your travels!
