We were very satisfied by the way Ramona had set up her house for us and it was such a comforting feeling to stay there. The house has the perfect blend of culture and comfort. It isnt far away from the beach and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!!
Ramona was a great host, and my girlfriend and I had a great time staying in her lovely home. The condo is in a great location being super close to Huntington State Park and Brookgreen Gardens. It is also a short drive from Broadway at the Beach.
The condo was easy to locate and parking was convenient to the front door. Although we only spent two nights there (and not much time at the condo), Ramona made us feel comfortable and right at home. The unit is in a very convenient location and beach access was just a short drive. Ramona was gracious hostess and had basket of bagels and fruit and bottled water available to us.. She also had beach umbrellas available for our use. We didn't have an opportunity to use the facilities that were offered at the condo, but everything appeared to be very clean and well maintained. I would rate our stay as a positive experience and would stay there again if I travel through the area.
We spent the weekend in Ramona's condo a few weeks back. It was very spacious and a much nicer alternative to getting a hotel in the area. It was very comfortable and we felt right at home there. The location was great. It was walking distance to a gas station and grocery store, and a very short drive from the restaurants in the area. Ramona had the apartment very clean when we arrived, and she was even nice enough to leave snacks and information about local restaurants for us.
Ramona was an absolute delight! Beautiful accommodations and an extremely gracious hostess! The proximity to the heart of Murrells Inlet was wonderful. We spent quite a bit of time strolling around the beautifu boardwalk area. Her residence is akin to a mini museum. We will definitely look to her again the next time we're in the area. In fact, we'd love to stay in touch with our new found friend.
The apartment was in a great location, clean and very comfortable. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay around Myrtle Beach. Ramona was very kind and left us a welcome basket and note and called to ensure things were going OK.
Our stay in Murrell's Inlet was great. Ramona was very attentive and made sure that we arrived safely and found the condo okay. A friend of hers greeted us upon our arrival and showed us around and let us know that we can contact her or Ramona during our stay. Ramona left us a lovely welcome basket and made us feel right at home.
Murrell's Inlet is a quaint town with everything you could need nearby (grocery, restaurants, shopping). The waterfront at the marina is very nice with some great restaurants and a nice place to get a drink. There are several golf courses and great beaches within a short driving distance.
I highly recommend staying at Ramona's condo!
We did not get to personally meet Romona, but her friend Geogia was welcoming and informative. Ramona was a very gracious hostess; when we contacted her for assistance she was quick to respond. We really appreciated her "welcome" materials. The menus and suggestions were very helpful. Thank you so much for sharing your space.
Our stay at Ramona's condo in Murrells Inlet was great! The condo layout was nice and accommodated our family of 5 perfectly. Ramona was out of town when we arrived so her friend, Georgia, was our point of contact during our stay. Georgia was very sweet, helpful, and had wonderful things to say about Ramona.
Murrells Inlet is a quaint and relaxing area with less traffic and quick access to Myrtle Beach & Pawley's Island. It was convenient having the Piggly Wiggly and Starbucks within walking distance making grocery shopping and morning walks for coffee very pleasant. Even though Ramona wasn't there she was still a great hostess leaving us menus and beach supplies (umbrella, 2 chairs, and a small cooler) to use. She also left a nice typed list of where things were located should we need them, the wireless internet information, and emergency contact numbers. The condo complex is very nice and well kept. The pool was great and came complete with lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas.
Murrells Inlet has many of the best seafood restaurants but our favorite was Inlet Crab House and Raw Bar. It is a smaller restaurant but the food is fantastic. Just like all the other restaurants, unless you go early, we had about an hour wait waited so we decided to have a drink at the bar next door. The drinks were good (so were their prices) and even though we didn't ride in on bikes we were very welcomed by the local patrons.
We had a great time and would highly recommend the South Carolina Coast Seafood Haven and hostess Ramona to others. Thank you Ramona!
Ramona was great. Very eager to help out and give recommendations.
And her place is comfortable and in a great location, about 4 miles from Garden City beach one way and 4 from Huntington State Park in the other.
We really loved Garden City Beach over Myrtle, half the people and we found free parking right across the street from the beach July 4th weekend. That evening we ate at Flo's Place based on Ramona's recommendation and weren't disappointed. (Great southern fried seafood on Murrel's inlet)
Our kids loved the swimming pool in the complex, and it was nice having a Piggly Wiggly a short walk away.
Just a slight heads up for parents, Ramona has a lot of fragile decorations which had us on our toes with a toddler. Other than that it was exactly the getaway we needed.
