About this listing
A charming apartment in a beautiful neighborhood located between Fisherman's Wharf and Downtown San Francisco. We've got outdoor cafes, a gorgeous park steps from the door and we're only blocks from the bay. This is where the beat poets and artists stayed and played. There's TOP SHOPPING and the night life is full of theater, restaurants, bars, clubs, and sound - North Beach is happening and 8 of the 10 'don't miss SF attractions' are within walking distance.
The apartment is in a rather tired building but still manages to be super cool, mainly because of the building style, it being the corner apartment and of the location. It's a junior one bedroom on the first floor in the heart of North Beach, on the cusp of China Town and Little Italy. The front room is an intimate corner room with large windows surrounded by classic SF architecture. It has a super comfy futon with memory foam topper.
The main room has a super comfy futon w/ memery foam as well as a teeny kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toaster oven and hot plate. The windows overlook a hopping intersection above cafes, shops and street musicians. THE BATHROOM IS NOT IN THE APARTMENT, we share the four bathrooms that are on this floor, sort of dorm style. they're cleaned each morning, the hot water never runs out and the closest one is only 10 steps from the door. There's coin laundry available on this floor as well.
Its quite small (perfect for 2) and can get loud as it's right amongst the action. It's super safe and is walking distance to the Wharf, Marina, Financial District, Washington Square Park and Coit Tower and 2 blocks from the cable car pickup and bus stops.
This is not a party apartment. The manager will call the police if things get rowdy so please continue looking if that's what you want.
Bryan and I spend a lot of time in the country or my sister's in Sausalito so we're generally out of town when the place is rented. We love this neighborhood and welcome conscious, respectful visitors.

Interaction with Guests
little to none
all around, super close and convenient
Respect the neighbors and the space. Although there's no clause in our lease against subletting, we haven't discussed it with the apartment owner who lives in hong kong and is rarely here.
If by chance she appears while you're here, please just tell her you are friends of Bryan's, he's out of town and offer his phone number if she has questions. (I've never even seen her so it's very unlikely that you would) thanks!
