Spacious penthouse, London E3. Five minutes to tube, DLR & buses. Secure car-parking. Personal meet, greet and key hand over for all guests. All of East London is on your door step and the West End's not far away too!
Calm, spacious and bright, top floor penthouse apartment – with its own balcony – set within a modern block with secure car-parking which is available for guests (daily parking charge £10).
There are two large bedrooms (each with double bed and ample wardrobe space) and a house bathroom. There’s an infant cot and a posh air mattress for a fifth guest if need be. Hotel quality bed-linen and towels are included.
The sitting / living room’s big with a dining set for four, a bang up to date 40” smart TV, DVD player and bluetooth stereo sound bar. There’s high-speed Wifi throughout the apartment. The view from the balcony across East London and the Olympic Park is great.
The kitchen is off the sitting / living room and includes: dishwasher, microwave, fridge with icebox, washer/dryer, kettle, toaster and plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery.
Past guests have included families (with / without children, young and old), singles, couples, professionals, weekenders, friends and holiday makers. We’ve also had corporate lets that have stayed a couple of months. All are welcome – however, the apartment is not a suitable venue for parties!

Once you have the keys, the entire apartment is yours! But we are always at the other end of the phone if need be.
Check in is from 3 pm but you can drop your bags off from midday onwards. If you need to check in after 9 pm there will be an additional charge.
If you’re staying for more than a week, we'll arrange with you to come in, clean the place and change the beds and towels for you.
Interaction with guests
My right hand man, Terry, meets and greets all our guests, shows you where everything is and how everything works and then hands over the keys. We’ll provide you with fresh milk for when you arrive plus tea and coffee and lots of other essentials throughout your stay. And we’re always at the other end of the phone if need be.
The apartment is in the East End of London in Bow, London E3. The area is bang in the middle for just about everything East: Shoreditch / Hackney / the City / Canary Wharf / Greenwich / The O2 / Excel / Stratford / Westfield / the 2012 Olympic Park / City Airport.
Bow and nearby Mile End are up and coming areas of East London. Rows of elegant Victorian housing rub shoulders with more contemporary housing. Nearby Tredegar Square (home to the very fine gastro-pub The Morgan Arms) is a few minutes walk. Just beyond, Roman Road is home to a busy East End market, hip cafes, bars and restaurants. Opening in 2011 and costing £1.45 billion, Stratford's Westfield complex is a high end shopping, eating and entertaining destination and is also close by.
There are lots of green spaces near by: there's a small park (including children's play area) opposite the apartment building, the 2012 Olympic Park and locals' favourite, Victoria Park, are within walking distance.
Supermarkets for local shopping are two minutes' walk away.
The tube, DLR and buses are all within five minutes walk of the apartment so reaching it by public transport is very easy.
The following are approximate travel times (door to door) to and from London's airports:
Stansted: 40 minutes - 1 hour
City: 25 minutes
Heathrow: 1 hour - 1 hour 15 minutes.
Gatwick: 1 hour.
By car, the A12 is easily accessible. There is a secure underground car park under the apartment block with space available for guests' use (parking charge: £10 / day).
Other things to note
Check in is from 3 pm – 9 pm but you can leave luggage and pick up keys from 12pm. If you need to check in later than 9pm there will be a small charge.
No real rules really, just respect the apartment and the neighbours. We ask guests not to smoke inside the apartment. We are in a residential block so the apartment is not suitable for parties or loud music.
