Communicating with Kay wasn't so easy. She didn't reply to my messages in the messaging thread in a timely manner. It was a crucial issue, because I needed to confirm that she received the very detailed email I am sending, with the instructions, how to find my place and the keys. Finally , I received a call from her, at around 8 pm on the check in day. she sounded very confused. She said she didn't read any of my messages or read my email. She told me her location, which was quiet far from my place. She also asked me if she will have the entire place for herself. I kindly explained that she reserved only one room, not an entire place and sent her again the instructions. I also called airbnb and asked them to help her. While she was at the apartment , I didn't hear much from her , although I tried reaching out to her, to make sure everything is alright. To conclude: I think it is very important to speak with your host PRIOR to your arrival. Counting on your host to be available for you EXACTLY when you are outside of the door without coordinating before is an irresponsible thing to do .
