Big bedroom in a beautiful apartment with sunset views. Big kitchen, grocery store across the st. Luxurious, comfortable living room. Moments from the J or M train, 10 min walk to the L train at Montrose Ave.

The space

The Big Room in BK Artist Apt.

Located right at the Lorimer stop of the JMZ line, it's just minutes to Manhattan. Also, a short walk to the L train at Morgan or Montrose and the heart of Bushwick, and a 5 minute walk to the Broadway stop on the G train. All bus stops on Broadway, Graham and Flushing are within 1 block.
There is a huge grocery store directly across the street and a laundromat downstairs as well as everything you could possibly need (restaurants, pharmacy, bank, liquor store, and shops) within a block or 2 on Graham and Flushing Aves. The neighborhood is safe and usually filled with people.

The apartment has a full living room, big kitchen and a dining area, is clean and relatively new, has only had one tenant before. Hardwood floors, shared bathroom and plenty of extra closet space. The building is clean and safe, there are only 3 apartments in the building and the other tenants are very friendly.

The bedroom is fully furnished with a very comfy Queen size bed, a large desk, sitting area, big closet with mirror and big windows with southern exposure. The bedroom can be locked to ensure privacy and is very comfortable and homey.

This place was awesome! Luka was very helpful and the place is huge with a ton of amenities. Location is convenient (right next to the M/J trains and pretty close to the L). Would recommend to anyone who wants to check out Brooklyn!

Luka is the most cool and easy-going host I have ever met and we won't have such a wonderful and smooth museum tour without his host!! The real apt environment is much better than that in the photo on airbnb, For the reason that we need to go to different places in Manhattan or Queens, the variety and convenience of the public transportation matters. It turns out that the subway J,M,Z line is two minutes-walk far, G and L line is within ten minutes walk. A large supermarket in one-minute walk across the street. A Japanese restaurant, two Chinese restaurants are also nearby within 5 to 8 minutes walk. So this apt is more safe and convenient as we expected. His roommate is such an easy-going person and I think anyone get get along well with. He is very helpful and kind for helping me picking up the Amazon package and answering all questions about the living details. The only and also the last chance we talked to Luka was when we arrived and he showed us the apt. For the reason that we took advantages of the time in museums, we didn't even spare a second time for meeting. However, Luka texted messages several times and aksed me how is everything going during our stay, which is very nice. In a word, it is definitely a great choice and don't be hesitate~!

Staying at Luka's place was fantastic. A nice, large room with great sunlight, a comfortable queen size bed (although admittedly very squeaky), cool art on the walls and a good sized desk to work at. The living room feels spacious but still comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for what I needed (not a professional chef but I didn't run into any problems cooking dinner). His roommate Pat is super chill and welcoming. The apartment is situated directly across the street from a large grocery store and is also right next to the elevated train tracks. Note - you can see the train going by 30 feet out the living room window, so if train noise is an issue for you, bear that in mind. I don't mind the sound of the train going by, personally, and the bedroom is in the back of the apartment but it's still a pervasive noise. The subway station is two blocks in either direction once you leave the front door, and there's a few other subway lines within a 5-10 minute walk. One thing I need to mention - there are two nail salons on the ground floor flanking the entrance to the building, and the smell of nail polish remover can sometimes fill the stairwell and the apartment. Could be I'm sensitive to that smell, but it required leaving the windows open to ventilate on some days. It wasn't terrible, but if you have issues with strong smells it could be a problem for you. All in all it was a wonderful place to stay and I almost didn't want to leave. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

We had a great stay here. We are New Yorkers who needed a place to stay for a few days and it worked out really well. The apartment is well furnished and the roommate was barely there so it was as if we had the whole place to ourselves.
