Our bayview one-bedroom unit has a true natural feeling. It comfortably hosts two, and is located in a beautiful 3000sq meter, tranquil bayfront villa, just 300 meters from the natural reserve. Enjoy stunning morning birdwatch, yoga and/or paddle sessions, or go kiteboarding, from our beautiful white-sand beach. FREE WIFI!

The space

Beautiful oceanfront rental beachsuite, located in a private villa at the most beautiful and best kiteboard/windsurf spot in the bay of Paracas. FREE WIFI!

The place was designed by a photographer and pioneer waterman, your host. EACH listed beachsuite is equipped for TWO people with:

- One Queen-size bed (one beachsuite has two beds)
- A beautiful oceanview terrace
- A spacious bathroom
- A mini living with bar and mini frig, microwave or water boiler, cups and coffee (no kitchen)

The whole villa can comfortably host 12 guests, in 6 beachsuite-type rooms with a private bathroom and terrace each. Our water supply is fresh.

Includes complimentary continental breakfast.

Guests can also enjoy one of our Cordon Bleu chef Fabi´s EXQUISITE gourmet lasagnas, buy fresh fruit and dairy products in town to keep them in the suite´s frig, or walk four minutes along the beach for a breakfast buffet at a nearby resort (at guest's expense). For your convenience, a grill is available in the villa, to do a wonderful barbecue overlooking the bay.

Regarding activities, during your stay you can simply relax, or kiteboard, paddle, fish, waterski and surf, in the beautiful bay of Paracas and the Natural Reserve. The location is blessed with world-class sailing conditions year round. For advanced kiters, you can launch your kite from the beach in front of the villa.

You may also enjoy our:

- Relaxation and/or yoga gardens overlooking the bay
- Professional kitesurf instruction ($360, 6 hrs)
- Advanced kite clinics by the hour ($75 per hour, min. 2 hours)
- Kite/SUP/birdwatch surfaris in the natural reserve (starting at $100)

The Bay of Paracas is sunny about 90% of the days in the year due to it´s microclimate. The desert meets the ocean in this majestic region of Peru, a paradise for sailing sports, fishing and photography. Sailing conditions are great throughout the year, with thermal winds ranging from 14-30knots about 95% of the days between August and early May.

The beach in front of the villa hosts a wide variety seabirds, such as egrets, pelicans, sandpipers, oyster catchers, zarcillos, kildeers, Peruvian gulls... including flamingos. The flamingos are seasonal in front of the villa. Due to recent real estate development, we have been working with the national forest agency (Sernanp) and the Capitania de Puerto de Pisco to educate in the preservation of their habitat.
Also, the bay hosts colonies of dolphins and sea turtles, and is one of the world's larger scallop farming sites. A morning walk will connect you with nature.

Moving around is via public transportation, taxi cab or walking. A taxi cab can pick you from the villa to go into town (about 3km distance) or take tours. On stays longer than three nights you may find more convenient renting a car, to fully explore the natural reserve beaches, restaurants and area in general.

Places you can visit while in Paracas include:
- The Reserva Nacional de Paracas (3 minutes away), including the archaeology and natural museums
- Dune buggy sandboarding tours
- The Ballestas Islands (a 2 hour boat tour)
- The Nazca lines (from Pisco airport at 15 minutes away)
- Some of the pisco wineyards (45 minutes away)
- The Huacachina oasis in Ica (1 hour away)
- San Gallán island for pro-surfing among sea lions
- Other hidden spots...

Villa Kite is a special place due to its quiet neighborhood and natural surroundings, and the warmth of its host and friends. There is a magical thing in not being a hotel.

You can get to Paracas in 3+ hours in the Oltursa or Cruz del Sur, 7:00am and 7:30am (departure time from Lima) buses. You can also rent a car in the airport.

Enjoy!

Overall a good location. If you want peace and seclusion this is definitely the place to go. Will be awesome once the pool area and construction is completed.

We've stayed at Jorge's place during our visit to Paracas. It's everything we've hoped for and more. Jorge is really friendly, he provided us with valuable information about our surroundings. It was sincerely a pleasure to meet him and his family. Their place is nicely built and a great place to come back to after the heat of the desert. There's nothing like sitting on the balcony of your room watching the sea with the desert backdrop right after having the nicest of showers.

Thank you Natalie and Burak for your warm remarks. We try to give our best to our guests, in our home, and are happy that you had a good time in Paracas. Hope to see you soon!

Jorge was incredibly gracious and helpful. He gave us great recommendations for touring the area (including the name and phone number of an excellent taxi/tour guide to take us through the park). The bungalow is charming and clean and the beach access could not have been better. Breakfast is a tad sparce (bread and coffee) - I would recommend bringing some food to supplement so you can enjoy a relaxing morning with the other guests. Paracas is really something to see - the National Reserve and Isla Ballestas is worth the trip alone. We will be back soon!

Staying with Jorge was like being with Family. Jorge and his wife Fabi are super personable - they went out of their way to make us feel at home. We got to know Paracas as "locals" from all their wonderful suggestions. The location of Villa Kite is perfect for your kiting vacation.

Jorge and Fabi' were very friendly and hospitable. Jorge's English was great yet they'd humor us and speak Spanish when we were doing our best to practice it. We spent a week here. PROS: Awesome beach property. Not too expensive... Friendly hosts. Great house keeper/ing. Clean air. Nice dogs (hey Jack & Duma!) CONS: 45-ish min walk to town/food/water. No nearby restaurants (except for the Doubletree hotel nearby, if you want to pay 2-3x prices- good food though). No kitchen or "cooking inside" though you could use the microwave. Kitesurfing area seemed great for the experienced but lessons were physically cramped due to limited open space near nature reserve. Somewhat nickel-and-dime pricing (e.g. laundry is 5 USD a load to access the washer, hang dry). On the edge of what I'd pay to stay there again. Fox terrier Jack is too smart for his own good.

Very nice accommodations, but close enough to the big hotels if you want use their facilities. The caretaker was very attentive, I highly recommend this if you are looking for something off the beaten path.

I stayed 12 days in Villa Kite at the end of November 2013 mostly for kitesurfing. I thought it was a nice alternative between the +$200 resorts on the Bay and the $40 backpackers hostels in town. The hosts, Jorge and Fabiola, are really nice people. They live on the premises so they are here for you if you need anything. They will also tell you everything there is to know about Paracas and the surroundings. It was nice to hang out in town with them and the other visitors for drinks and food. Each room of the building has a different size and different bed layout so there is one to best accommodate your needs. The breakfast is included. It consists of coffee, tea, bread, butter, jam and fruit juice. General comments: If you can, it's probably better to have a car since the restaurants and food markets in town are 2 or 3 km away. A car is also very useful if you want to go to the National Reserve often (for kitesurfing for example). Kitesurfing comments: The interesting wind starts around 2:40 pm (+ or - 1 hour) until sunset (around 6:30). It's a SW wind. For the time I was there, the SW wind blew from 12 knots to 25 knots (most of the time closer to 17 knots). In the morning, the wind is generally NW, weaker and unreliable. The main kitesurfing spot in the bay is about 500 m SW of villa kite. But if the wind is sufficient and if you can ride upwind, you can launch from Villa Kite. It is not really recommended to launch anywhere N of Villa Kite since there would be too many sting rays (for example from Hotel Paracas). When the wind is too light in the bay, you can chase the wind in the National Reserve where it's 3 to 8 knots higher (like in Zarate, Playon or Mendieta).
