Beautiful oceanfront rental beachsuites for two, located in a private villa at the most beautiful and best kiteboard/windsurf spot in the bay of Paracas.
The place was designed by a photographer and pioneer waterman, your host. EACH listed beachsuite is equipped for TWO people with:
- One Queen-size bed (one beachsuite has two beds)
- A beautiful oceanview terrace
- A spacious bathroom
- A mini living with bar and mini frig, water boiler and coffee (no kitchen)
The whole villa can comfortably host 12 guests, in 6 beachsuite-type rooms for two (with a private bathroom and terrace each). Our water supply is fresh.
Breakfast includes coffee/tea, orange juice, toasts or bread. Guests can also buy fresh fruit and dairy products in town, or beachwalk (4 minutes) to the Doubletree hotel for a breakfast buffet, at guest's expense. Also, you can use the grill in the house, if you wish to do a barbecue overlooking the bay.
Regarding activities, during your stay you can simply relax, or kiteboard, paddle, fish, waterski and surf, in the beautiful bay of Paracas and the Natural Reserve. The location is blessed with world-class sailing conditions year round. For advanced kiters, you can launch your kite from the beach in front of the villa.
You may also enjoy our:
- Relaxation and/or yoga gardens overlooking the bay
- Professional kitesurf instruction ($320, 7 hrs)
- Advanced kite clinics by the hour ($60 per hour, min. 2 hours)
- Kite/SUP/birdwatch surfaris in the natural reserve (starting at $90)
The Bay of Paracas is sunny about 90% of the days in the year due to it´s microclimate. The desert meets the ocean in this majestic region of Peru, a paradise for sailing sports, fishing and photography. Sailing conditions are great throughout the year, with thermal winds ranging from 14-30knots about 95% of the days between August and early May.
The beach in front of the villa hosts a wide variety seabirds, such as egrets, pelicans, sandpipers, oyster catchers, zarcillos, kildeers, Peruvian gulls... including flamingos. The flamingos are seasonal in front of the villa. Due to recent real estate development, we have been working with the national forest agency (Sernanp) and the Capitania de Puerto de Pisco to educate in the preservation of their habitat.
Also, the bay hosts colonies of dolphins and sea turtles, and is among the top breeding sites for scallops. A morning walk will connect you with nature.
Moving around is via public transportation or taxi cab. A taxi cab can pick you from the villa to go into town (about 3km distance) or take tours. On stays longer than three nights you may find more convenient renting a car, to fully explore the natural reserve beaches, restaurants and area in general.
Places you can visit while in Paracas include:
- The Reserva Nacional de Paracas (3 minutes away), including the archaeology and natural museums
- Dune buggy sandboarding tours
- The Ballestas Islands (a 2 hour boat tour)
- The Nazca lines (from Pisco airport at 15 minutes away)
- Some of the pisco wineyards (45 minutes away)
- The Huacachina oasis in Ica (1 hour away)
- San Gallán island for pro-surfing among sea lions
- Other hidden spots...
Villa Kite is a special place due to its quiet neighborhood and natural surroundings, and the warmth of its host and friends. There is a magical thing in not being a hotel.
You can get to Paracas in 3+ hours in the Oltursa or Cruz del Sur, 7:00am and 7:30am (departure time from Lima) buses. You can also rent a car in the airport.

Llegamos a las 10 pm y mi hermano a las 3 am y Jorge nos recibió sin ningún problema, desayuno rico en la mañana y vista a la bahía de Paracas, muy agradable y lindo lugar, 100% recomendable!
We had a great trip to Paracas. Jorge was a great host and has created a very tranquil and beautiful beach suite. I would highly recommend this place to others.
I stayed 12 days in Villa Kite at the end of November 2013 mostly for kitesurfing. I thought it was a nice alternative between the +$200 resorts on the Bay and the $40 backpackers hostels in town. The hosts, Jorge and Fabiola, are really nice people. They live on the premises so they are here for you if you need anything. They will also tell you everything there is to know about Paracas and the surroundings. It was nice to hang out in town with them and the other visitors for drinks and food. Each room of the building has a different size and different bed layout so there is one to best accommodate your needs. The breakfast is included. It consists of coffee, tea, bread, butter, jam and fruit juice.
General comments: If you can, it's probably better to have a car since the restaurants and food markets in town are 2 or 3 km away. A car is also very useful if you want to go to the National Reserve often (for kitesurfing for example).
Kitesurfing comments: The interesting wind starts around 2:40 pm (+ or - 1 hour) until sunset (around 6:30). It's a SW wind. For the time I was there, the SW wind blew from 12 knots to 25 knots (most of the time closer to 17 knots). In the morning, the wind is generally NW, weaker and unreliable. The main kitesurfing spot in the bay is about 500 m SW of villa kite. But if the wind is sufficient and if you can ride upwind, you can launch from Villa Kite. It is not really recommended to launch anywhere N of Villa Kite since there would be too many sting rays (for example from Hotel Paracas). When the wind is too light in the bay, you can chase the wind in the National Reserve where it's 3 to 8 knots higher (like in Zarate, Playon or Mendieta).
Jorge's place is great, the place is better in real, then in the pictures. He is also a very friendly host and enjoys socializing.
Jorge was a great host. Paracas is a bit confusing on transportation (at least to us) and he helped us get there and book our tours throughout Las Ballestas and Ica. It was great chatting with him and his background... him, his fiance, and his friends were all great people. The room was very comfortable, big, and clean. He has three dogs and they are very friendly and entertaining. It was his fiance's birthday the weekend we went, and he was kind enough to invite us to a bbq for her. It was a great way to relax after the Ica trail.
I will say that I thought the weekend was sufficient time to stay, unless you kiteboard. We definitely had enough time to do it all. Paracas real estate seems odd to me right now, because hotels are either very expensive (he is right next to the Double Tree), or very cheap (hostels downtown). Jorge's place is a good in between if you want a bit of beach luxury without the big pricetag.
Thank you Jorhe, we had a great trip!!
