The Space

Newely restored apartment with all modern fittings. Very cozy and fun. The apartment is on two levels with the master bedroom on loft. The living room accommodates easily two extra people on a comfortable double sleeping sofa. The kitchenette is fully equipped and the bathroom has a comfy shower. Everything is modern and brand new. The small terrace gives an extra plus to the flat. The location is right in the center of Rome in Monti area, which today is very popular and trendy for its numerous fancy boutiques, wine bars and restaurants. A well-known meeting point for locals and visitors.Colosseum and Fori Imperiali is only at 5min. walk and all other important historical sites of Rome can be visited on foot.

Guest Access

The flat is all private and the small terrace as well.
We provide the bed linen and towels.

Interaction with Guests

The check-ins and outs are coordinated well in advance before the guest's arrival with all the necessary info. A caretaker lives near by for any eventual emergencies and I can be contacted via phone or e-mail any time.

The Neighborhood

Monti is the trendiest area in Rome at the moment. The old artisan area has transformed itself to modern trend, but in the same time conserving the antique atmosphere. There's everything for everybody. Restaurants, wine bars, shops, fashion, design etc. The area has become very popular amongst both visitors and locals, but has not become too 'touristic'. Monti has still saved its original face.

Getting Around

If you arrive in Rome by train in Termini Station, take the exit to Via Cavour and walk down the street on your right hand side. Pass Basilica S.M. Maggiore on your left. Continue a few hundred meters and turn right to Via di S.M. Maggiore. A few more hundred meters and you will the find the building on your left right in the corner with Via Urbana. It takes just 10 min. to walk from the train station to the apartment.
Colosseum and Fori Imperiali are at 5 min. walk at the end of Via Cavour. Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Piazza Venezia, Piazza di Spagna, Campo de' Fiori at 15-20 min. walk.
The metro station Cavour B line is at the end of Via Urbana, a few min. to walk.

Other Things to Note

There are plenty of restaurants and wine bars in Rome and in the Monti area. Its quite hard to indicate the best one. Its recommended to avoid restaurants and bars that have a touristic menu. Look for places, where you see locals dining. Its a good indication of quality.
