The Space

Newely restored apartment with all modern fittings. Very cozy and fun. The apartment is on two levels with the master bedroom on loft. The living room accommodates easily two extra people on a comfortable double sleeping sofa. The kitchenette is fully equipped and the bathroom has a comfy shower. Everything is modern and brand new. The small terrace gives extra plus to the flat. The location is right in the center of Rome in Monti area, which today is very popular and trendy for its numerous fancy boutiques, wine bars and restaurants. A well-known meeting point for locals and visitors.Colosseum and Fori Imperiali is only at 5min. walk and all other important historical sites of Rome can be visited on foot.

Guest Access

The flat is all private and the small terrace as well.

  • Just had a wonderful 4 night stay in Kati's apartment. The apartment itself is nice and cosy and comfortable enough, but the true value of the apartment lies in the location. 5 minute walk from Termini station (Central station) that connects to every other station in the city - including the airport, as well as comfortable walking distance from famous sites such as the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and the Pantheon. Unfortunately I didn't get to meet Kati this trip as she was overseas, but we were well looked after by Stefano (neighbouring apartment). I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Rome.

  • We enjoyed our stay at this flat in Rome. The location is great, and the apartment is spacious, comfortable and fully equipped with amenities for preparing food etc. Including basic food items like bread, coffee and drinks in the fridge - which is much appreciated when arriving in a new city and the locations of grocery stores and cafés are unknown.

  • Well I don't have to add a lot besides what has already been said before, by previous reviews. Except the fact that it was my first airbnb experience, so maybe helpful for thoughtful visitors who want to try. Our experience met all what we expected. The flat is awesome, in a very good point for sightseeing even by walking.
Kati was super helpful and guiding, everything was clear and crystal as described. I would definitely recommend and if I was to visit Rome
again I will definitely choose this again without a second thought.

    Thanks Kati!

  • Kati's apartment was wonderful, exactly as represented in the pictures, a great neighbohood and convenient to the sights and mass transit.ll Kati exceeded our expectations, providing thoughtful little touches, candies, wine, milk, and water which were appreciated. We found two restaurants in the neighborhood that we would recommend, Tema, right across the street was outstanding and gave us limoncella and cookies gratis at the end of our meal. We also liked, Trattoria Al Trttarello, right around the corner, but we were very disappointed with both the food and the service at La Mela D'Oro.

We will recommend your apartment to all of our friends. You have (email hidden) for others to try to match.

  • Very nice and comfortable flat very clean and with lovely welcome gifts : wine, sweets, chocolates, juice, butter and jam, bread...
Very considerate indeed ! Thank you Kati !

I stayed for 5 weeks, being in Rome for work.
The flat is most happily and conveniently situated, in Esquilino, Monti. Lovey area, with lots of shops.
There is a bus stop in front of the house for the Fontana di Trevi or Piazza di Spagna and Piazza del Popolo, and the metro is just up the street.
Easy walking distance to all sites, except Vatican, but the bus taking you there is 4-5 minutes away.
I had a lot of time off, and could go and visit everything I wanted, and more !

I am very sensitive to noise, more that most people.
The flat being on the first floor, it is not very quiet, as you can hear the cars or people in the street. During the day, it is not a problem, but at night, it can disturbing.
But I got used to it soon and could sleep with no problem.

The neighbour is taking care of the flat, so if there is anything, she is always ready and willing to help.
It is very valuable, as it happens that the hosts are not on the premises and in case of a problem, it can take days to sort it out.

Thank you Kati for a lovely stay and a great communication.

  • Lovely apartment, ideally located for exploring Rome by foot. 10 mins walk for Termini. Well equipped with some basics provided in the fridge along with bottle of bubbles and vino, which was lovely thank you Kati. The apartment is very clean and comfortable and the area of Monti is fantastic. I would definitely recommend apartment and location. Kati always responded quickly to emails. Many thanks Kati.

  • This was our first experience using Airbnb so we were a little apprehensive before embarking on our travel to Rome. However, after arriving in Rome early and initially contacting our host we checked into the apartment. I cannot say enough good things about the location, the cleanliness and how welcomed we were. 185 Panisperna is ideally located if you want to visit all the great sites in Rome and Vatican City. Walking to and from this location allowed us to visit most if not all intended sites, the Coliseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheum, Spanish steps, O'Brien's Irish Pub, Hard Rock Cafe, as well as numerous cathedrals and museums. around the area. The apartment itself was clean, and had all the amenities one needs to enjoy their stay in Rome. We would use Airbnb and this apartment again when visiting Rome. Kati thanks for the great place to stay.

  • I may just plan my next visit to Rome around the availability of Kati's flat. Communicating with her was very prompt and clear, arriving and checking in was effortless, and we very much appreciated the basic supplies waiting for us in the apartment! (chianti, prosecco, orange juice). And the apartment - spotlessly clean, much more spacious then what the pictures let on, well stocked with appliances, and the best location in Rome.

About
The first time I arrived in Rome I felt at home. Now you may ask: How can a little girl from Finnish Lapland and nightless nights feel at home in Rome ? That was my first Italian Moment along with many others to follow. Destiny introduced me to real estate business and quality properties both in Rome and elsewhere in Italy together with a large community of foreigners finding themselves in or wanting to visit Italy for work, study, leisure or pleasure. All of us have had and will have our own Italian Moments. I'm helping people from all over the world find their special Italian Moment by finding them holiday accommodation and interesting and fun things to do: whether it is a holiday, a wedding, cultural or gastronomical tour or painting course or anything they might want to do during their stay in this beautiful country.
