With a terrific view ranging from the heart of Noto to the seaside, House of Arts is not just a place to stay, but a special quiet, warm, relaxing home dimension, according to the local 'slow time' of life. An essential, functional furniture, the brightness of the spaces and the contemporary artworks around you, fulfill the pleasure of living as a form of art.

The space

What a great experience it is to live in House of Arts, although for a few days! It's a quiet, cozy place to stay: couches everywhere, a free powerful wifi, lots of books and a tiny hi-fi system at your disposal. The main balcony has a panoramic view and there is a small flowery terrace at the entrance. As an ancient building with thick stone walls, the house always keeps an ideal inner temperature, fresh in summer and warm in winter.

Best view in Noto! The balcony overlooks the city and you can see the farms and ocean beyond. We stayed in March so we did not go to the beach but Giovanni, Corrado's father told us that there is a shuttle that will take you to the beaches in the summer. Giovanni picked us up from the Noto train station and brought us to the apartment, the train station is a 15 min walk though so it's easy to get to it on your own. Noto is a gorgeous sleepy city in March, we loved walking around the quiet streets while everyone else was having a siesta, it felt like we had the whole city to ourselves during that time. This apartment is right above the town center, filled with cafes, restaurants and the most gorgeous architecture in Sicily.

Spacious, comfortable flat with tall ceilings - description was accurate. Great view and central location. Comfortable, large bed and couch. Host always responded quickly and checked that all was ok when we arrived - was very accommodating with our late arrival and late departure times. Graciously left us oranges, almonds, milk, bottled water, etc. Would highly recommend the flat.

This may have been my best Air BnB experience, no small feat since I've been traveling for a year. EVERYTHING is perfect about this place. The light, the location, the balcony, the bed, the space, the amenities... they have thought of everything. I did not want to leave EVER!! Thank you Corrado you and your dad were so gracious!! I felt so at home! Noto is magical, made of wind and light. I must return. To you and Noto!! Thank you!

'House of Arts' is an amazing place to stay in Noto. You'll find everything you need in the apartment, you can park your car in the street or very close by. Giovanni (Corrado's dad) was very nice and helpful. Noto is a perfect place to start exploring sicily.

PROS: Good free parking outside or max 20 metres from gate. Private and secluded. Quiet. Good kitchen with lots of basics already there (olive oil, mineral water, tea, coffee, butter etc etc. Aircon works well. Wonderful view as far as Capo Passero Island. Corrado helpful and available. Highly recommended. Small shops mini-supermarket and bakers within 200 metres. CONS: None regarding the flat. But my most important tip about travelling to Sicily is DON'T RENT CAR FROM SICILY BY CAR.

It would be an understatement to say Corrado is a great host. He is also an awesome, warm person. The apartment is not just clean, but very characterful. From the 100-y-old tiles to the breezy space (aided by AC), to the amazing view from the balcony and a fantastic CD collection - simply fantastic. Corrado was very easy to communicate with prior to arrival, he expected us with chilled water and fresh fruit when we arrived. He gave us lots of suggestion for places to visit and restaurants to try. After check-out, we had a flat tire and he went the extra mile to find an open gas-station (not easy during siesta time) and help us out. You won't find a warmer host or a more relaxing place to stay!

Corrado is a perfect host. He already put some fresh fruits and drinks for us, when we arrived. He gave us lots of tips and told us about sicilian life. The flat is exactly as described. There was everything wie needed for our six-day-stay. We were there while it was very hot. But air conditioning and thick walls made it very comfortable in the flat. It is located 5-10 minutes by foot from noto's beautiful Center and with the car we arrived the beautiful beaches of eloro in just 10-15 minutes. Also places like siracusa or Cava grande can be reached easily and quickly. I can only recommend this place!
