Enjoy our 2-bedroom cozy getaway cabin located in the quiet Good River area and just 8 miles from Glacier Bay National Park. The cabin sits on a wooded lot with trails nearby and close enough to bike anywhere in town. The cabin has two queen size beds, fully equipped kitchen, living room, bathroom and washer/dryer and internet.

Fixings for a pancake breakfast with homemade Spruce Tip syrup is included. Free bikes, BBQ and a portable firepit are also available for use.

The space
The cabin has a large porch entry with room for sitting. Inside is an open floor plan with living, kitchen and dining area.

The living room is stocked with a full Alaskan library and games.

Each bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed with down comforters a chair and an armoire.

A full bathroom with fresh towels, full size bathtub and some toiletries if you have forgotten your own or run out along your travels.

Utility area has a washer and dryer, ironing board, recycling bins and cleaning supplies.

Guest access
While you are with us, you have access to the entire cabin and bikes located at the shed adjacent to the cabin.

Parking is on sight.

Neighborhood highlights

The Good River neighborhood lives up to it's name. The cabin is a 3 minute walk to the Good River and nestled amongst the spruce trees in the center of what we call "The Good Hood". You can walk a little further past the Good River to the Crane Flats where in the early spring and late fall Sandhill Cranes will rest on their migration. Wildlife sightings are possible as bears and moose frequent the area. Bring your binoculars if you enjoy birding!
