  • Brian's cottage was one of the cutest places we've stayed at! Everything was well organized, tasteful and very charming. The location and neighborhood was also perfect - very close to cafes and shops. We were very happy with our stay.

  • As a very frequent business traveler, I sometimes pamper myself by using upgrade credits to move to Business Class for a flight, or check into a 5 star hotel when I can. This was the feeling I arrived at this gem of a BnB. Every part of this little oasis feels like a step up from average, whether it's the bed linens, the finishes in the bathroom, or neighborhood surrounding this little cottage. I've stayed in several AirBnBs since November 2013, and this is by far the best experience I've had. When I saw the schedule, and how far in advance Brian's little cottage was booked, I wondered "is it that good?" (the photos should already be a pretty good indicator)
The answer is yes. Book ahead, you won't regret it.
Also, highly recommend doing a stroll in downtown Burlingame on a sunny day where you can people watch, or just do some window shopping.
Will definitely stay here again when I can, as I already have to check my calendar to see when it's available :)

  • Delightful cottage and very friendly and hospitable host. We have visited San Francisco several times and I only wish we had found this sooner.

  • Comfortable, clean and cozy cottage. Lights on sensors go on if you arrive after dark. A bowl of fruit on the counter. Kitchen stocked with everything you need. Nice towels and linens too. I would recommend this as an ideal landing pad if staying on the Peninsula.

  • Love this cottage under the tree, so cool to have a private entrance to the cottage and have it like a studio apartment. It has everything from kitchen to a small dining table and even an iron board. Brian is very quick to my messages and he is very flexible with my arrangements. :) Great stay and I will be back!

  • We came back for another stay when our home renovations were extended. Let ourselves in and out- wonderful! Thanks Brian!!

  • We had a fantastic stay in the Paloma cottage. Very private, great communication with Brian. Loved the big dish of fresh organic fruit on check in. It's a small space but incredibly functional and clean. Just what we needed! Highly recommend!

  • I stayed in the cottage for 3 nights and it was fantastic!

Brian left out fresh fruit for me. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. It's also walkable (~1 mile) to the center of Burlingame, which was perfect for me since that's where my office is -- as well as many restaurants and shops.

    I would definitely stay again.

  • Brian is a wonderful host. His place has everything you would need. Very compact, but it's all there. Truly enjoyed our stay of ten days in December. Thank you.

  • we had a lovely stay in Brian's Cottage. The area is nice and quiet and yet only a short walk to some lovely (website hidden) problem parking a car either. Highly recommend it. Thanks Brian.

About
I am from Ashland, OR, just across the Oregon border. I have been in San Francisco for 15 years now. I recently moved to Burlingame and find the town feel a lot like home. Yet, can be in the city in minutes so its a perfect combination.
