  • Mr. Parrish's Bungalow is in immaculate condition and he was able to accommodate us on very short notice! Highly recommend this gentleman's AirBnB!

  • Matthew's place was amazing, exactly as described. Like all the other reviews we felt at home away from home. Location is ace, walking distance to everything you need. Parking was a little tricky at times, but hey it's LA.

  • Matthew was quite accommodating. The place is very tastefully designed, as you can see in the photos. Beautiful tree-lined street/neighborhood. Great deal for the price.

  • Beautiful little bungalow! Great location, super-cute neighborhood, just round the corner from a great strip of cool bars, shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

  • We enjoyed our stay, but for older people who do not know their way around that part of LA ,it could be interesting to find ones way around.Maybe if they are older they should be advised that the (only) 2 steps out front and back are not easy to negotiate.

  • Excellent location! Short drive to everywhere we need to go. Stylish apartment. However, fridge makes too much noise at night as there was one night which we had to unplug it from the wall.

Very communicative and responsive host, Matthew answered all our questions regarding the apartment promptly. Easy check in!

    Response from Matthew:

We just today (3/12/2014) replaced the refrigerator with a brand new one.

  • Since we were first time Airbnb users I was skeptical. However Matt gets top kudos for representing his listing. Matt was quick and courteous with a response which was so helpful since some other Airbnb hosts were slow to respond. We briefly met Matt while we went to our room and he proved to be warm, friendly and business like enabling to help us to the fullest. He made it a great experience! Thanks Matt. The accommodations were perfect for us, the location where I could walk to anything needed, closest to Melrose Ave. It was amazingly quiet offering every little thing I thought I might need to use, Matt thought of everything in this area as well. The bed was very comfortable, the small eat in kitchen complete, a nice walk in closet, a comfortable chair for tv watching, internet, laundry facility, and a bathroom of course! There was nothing more to request, even had a vase for flowers and an umbrella! It was warm and inviting and felt like home not a hotel, thanks again Matt !

  • Matthew was extremely accommodating. I had to change my dates & he generously worked with me to edit the time that I stayed with him. The place was very chic, only a 5 minute walk to the cool end of Melrose. A great spot to stay to get the real LA experience.
