This is a lovely one bed apartment right in the heart of Sukhumvit – Bangkok’s business and entertainment district.
The apartment is conveniently located to public transport and Bangkok’s major shopping district Siam.
The apartment is walking distance to:
BTS (sky train) NANA (5 min)
MRT (underground) SUKHUMVIT (8 min)
Siam shopping centre 8 min by BTS
The canal boat (klong) is a 5 min walk and takes you to the old part of town where all sightseeing is.
Soi 11 is only 2 min walking distance from the apartment and is one of the most happening parts of town full of good bars, restaurants and Bangkok’s top nightclubs.
The apartment is located on the 25th floor which offers great view over the city and sunset. Although you are in the centre of Bangkok the apartment is very peaceful.
The building is extremely convenient; it has everything you need and more:
It offers these free facilities:
•Swimming pool, gym, sauna and squash
2 Convenient stores
• Laundry services on level 14
(the lovely ladies wash and iron your clothes)
• 3 restaurants (Thai, Indian & Korean)
- all deliver to your front door
• Clean drinking water
The apartment has:
•Cable TV & DVD player
Good sound system
•small kitchen with a hot plate, grill, microwave & kettle
Note: I do offer flexible check in and check out but please be aware that if someone is staying in the apartment on the day you are arriving or vice versa some one is arriving on the day you are leaving - the check in/out cannot be as flexible. If this is the case we will need to agree on a time which is fair to both parties. Thank you for your understanding.
Absolutely loved the apartment. Very spacious, clean and convenient location from subway and walking around. Had a great stay and hope to visit again in the future.
Dita has a lovely apartment and right off Sukhumvit. Everything is as described. We really enjoyed our three nights here and can recommend without any caveats. Loved the 14th floor early morning espresso and the pool was perfect on a hot night. Go for it!
Good location and view as advertised. Very convenient to Skytrain which is all important. However the internet access was very erratic. We could not connect on first two days, or again on our last day. Dita was helpful, but a star lost for that. The second star was lost by the apartment looking a bit tired and things like the curtains being in need of a wash/renewal.
Fair point about the curtains - they get washed regularly but they are stained from the direct sun that the receive and I will buy new ones as soon as I return to Bangkok. About the internet - I've never experienced erratic internet connection over a number of days. Usually it's reliable and fast and as I adviced you turning the modem off and on usually solves the problem. I offered to call a technician if the problem persisted but as I haven't heard from you after your initial complaint I presumed the internet was fine. So unfortunately there wasn't much that I could do.
I'm very sorry about that.
Dita's place is a great base to explore Bangkok. It's conveniently located close to a Skytrain station and the area gets very lively at night with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The views from the flat and particularly the rooftop are fantastic!
Before and during our stay in Bangkok, Dita was very helpful and made sure we had all we needed - she even kept us informed about the situation in the city during the protests that have been taking place recently.
Communication was excellent, Wifi was very fast and reliable and the apartment was very quiet. Not sure why the view gets such rave reviews as looking at dilapidated rooftops and satellite dishes in one direction and a mass of concrete buildings in the other does not turn my crank. A good experience but a little expensive for what you get I'd say.
The Apartment was pleasant, clean and I loved staying there. Great views, and right in the middle of the action....Thanks Dita,
This funky apartment was well equipped and had a cool view. The workout room was mostly out of order and very small. The pool was nice on a hot day. The water canal longboats were a great way to get from the apartment to Wat Po and amulet market (we didn't go to the Grand Palace ). Great street food nearby, lots of European restaurants on Soi 11 which we avoided because the carts are so cheap and delicious. Mind the seafood from the carts as that's the only time my husband felt a little ill on our 3 week journey. Overall, great location to venture around Bangkok.
Dita was a very good host. Excellent contact with quick responses. Tips she left us and guidebooks she has in her apartment helped as to plan everything smoothly.
And the apartment itself is just like on the pictures!
I'd gladly stay there again.
Everything was just perfect. The apartment is ideally located to explore Bangkok, stunning view, very nicely decorated. Dita was very helpful with everything, could not expect a more perfect host. Highly recommended, I just hope I can be back soon.
Dita's house was our first stop in Thailand. It was so nice to come back to a comfortable apartment after a long day touring the city. The space was just what we needed and had a wonderful view. Turning on the A/C after being out in the heat really make the difference too. The location was perfect for us as we are both 27 and 26 and there was a mix of shopping, great food and drinks all nearby. Thanks Dita for opening up your great home to us and making our trip to Bangkok exceptional.
