Last minute trip to Santa Rosa with my wife. We had never been to the area before and Frankie was very helpful in sharing local suggestions, directions and even had a few local magazines for us to reference.
We stayed in the master suite which had plenty of room and a private bathroom. Thanks for everything Frankie, we will keep in touch as our local adventure continues!
Frankie was very sweet and very accommodating host to us!
Frankie is an awesome host - super friendly, responsive, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The Master Suite was spacious, quiet, clean and peaceful. The space heater came in handy on the few nights when it got chilly. Did not need to use the big fluffy down comforter, but it was nice to have it ready just in case. Loved the big kitchen, filtered water, fireplace and huge dining table. The Sunday Farmers Market in Sebastopol was excellent and just a few minutes drive from the house. I really enjoyed my stay here, and would highly recommend Frankie's MiCasaAzul to anyone wanting to check out Sonoma County.
Frankie's place is very comfortable. Frankie goes out of her way to make sure you have what you need and the room is very clean and comfy. We will visit again for sure.
Upon arrival, we had trouble checking-in. No one answered the door and no key was left outside. So, we called Frankie, who was very nice, and she instructed us to just enter through an unlocked door and told us where our bedroom was located. The room and bathroom were clean upon arrival and we had no other troubles, although the house is not very soundproof and the room got quite cold overnight.
The house was run like a dormitory, with up to 5 people staying there. The manager was away for several days and the kitchen dishwasher was broken and quite honestly, the kitchen was a mess.
My room was as stated, quite comfortable and clean. Overall, it was a satisfactory experience.
The place was in a safe and quiet area. Clean room. Which is what you want in a hotel stay. It is the best quality of the place.
I am not fuzzy about a room, but... The room did not have a chair to put your clothes on, or simply sit!.. and we ended up laying them on top of our suitcase, and/or sitting on the bed.
There was no way to lock our room when we were out, which kind of made us uneasy about leaving stuff behind when we left to explore the town.
If it is a master bedroom, intended for adults, why in the world you would have a very small Winnie the Pooh lamp as your only form of lighting?
Parking was a huge problem!! We had to leave our car almost a block away. Not convenient when you have a lot to carry. If you are lucky to come home early, you will get the best spot in the house garage, ...but it is only ONE spot.
Not sure if I would stay here again.
We've spent a week in Santa Rosa,
Frankie was great, the house is gorgeous and the neighborhood is really quiet. The room is just perfect!
30 minutes from the russian river's wineries (there's a lot) and sonoma valley.
One week was just not enough to see them all.. We will be back soon^^

Frankie was very kind and helpful. She even gave me a coffee mug to take with me when we couldn't find a paper cup. the room was large, bed was comfortable and bathroom was very clean. I was able to use the clothes dryer and Frankie offered to send me back something that i left there.
My husband and I stayed at Frankie's place for a friend's wedding, which took place only 10 mins away by driving. And the room itself is very clean and quiet. Having own private bathroom is definitely a big plus. There is a Wholefoods only 10 mins driving as well. So it worked perfect for us.
