Description

The space

We are Francesco and Laura, two journalists who often travel for work.
We live in a large apartment, bright with a large balcony, two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and a large living room, located on the fifth floor of a modern building, close to the heart of Rome.
In fact from our place you can walk to Trastevere, Testaccio and the historical center. Furthermore we are located nearby the Sunday Market of Porta Portese (like Portobello in London or Marché aux puces in Paris).
The place is well served by Public Transport, the tram line 8, is just five stops from Largo Argentina and we are at two minute walk from Trastevere Station where the train to and from the Fiumicino Airport stops.
Our home is perfect for enjoying a stay in Rome, day and night. We provide the entire house but also the individual rooms. Ask us in private mail.
In the livingroom there is a library that we like to use as a book crossing: upon arrival jou can take a book and leave one of yours, in order to leave an imprint of your stay.

wi-fi internet and satellite TV are for free.

Guest access

Interaction with guests

L'ospite riceverà le chiavi da noi in persona e troverà tutto il necessario per la prima colazione del soggiorno e la possibilità di cucinare un pasto. Saremo sempre a disposizione per qualsiasi richiesta degli ospiti.

The neighborhood

Francesco was a wonderful host--kind, helpful, and thoughtful. He not only met us at the nearby Travestere rairroad station and helped carry our luggage, he met us and helped carry they luggage TO the station at the end of o ur visit, The apartment is spacious and nice and well-provisioned. It was nice to be outside the tourist zone, while still having access to the city center.

Great place to stay if you don't want to stay directly in Rome. Wonderful area to walk around and Sundays are a huge outdoor fair day. Great restaurants in the area as well. Apartment is clean and comfortable.

The apartment is very spacious, cozy and neat. When we arrived there were everything we needed for the first hours: milk, cereals, cakes, etc. It is very closely located to tram, train and bus stations, which helps to reach the city center just in 15 minutes. Francesco has very hospitable and helping personality. We stayed in this house for almost 4 months and every time we called him, he was available to answer all our questions. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay there and would recommend my friends for sure. In the end, those who plan to study at John Cabot University, this house is the best choice, as it is 10 minutes far from Uni and is next to university campuses, but twice cheaper.

We had a fantastic stay at the apartment. Francesco is an excellent host and came to meet us at the bus stop and spent a long time showed us the apartment and gave useful information of visiting Rome. We felt very welcome .The apartment is very big and has everything we need during our stay even milk and cereal. The apartment is located close to a tram stop which takes you directly to the centre of Rome, making it convenient to visit the major landmarks eg the Colosseum and Fontana di Trevi etc. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Rome, and we will also recommend this apartment to our friends.

The apartment is quite big, clean and in the heart of rome, every touristic spot is reachable by 20 min in tram or bus. We, 3 people stayed in his apartment and yet it felt enough spacious. Francesco was very kind and gave us lot of valuable advices. I will definitely come back again to his place. Best wishes for his future endeavor.

Francesco met us at the train station and very graciously showed us the apartment. It is a more modern apartment than many and the deck is fantastic. We loved being able to sit out there and hear the activity below, especially the market on Sunday morning! The location is good and easy to catch the tram from near the train station or by walking a few blocks. Francesco wrote what to say in Italian when arranging our taxi for the airport. Turned out to be a good thing because the fellow didn't speak any English. He even checked in with us the next day to make sure that everything was fine. Laura had been out of town so we didn't get to meet her. This is a very nice apartment and we highly recommend

We had wonderful time in Rome thanks to amazing hospitality of Francesco and Laura! House is great with a beautiful balcony. Rooms are cozy and tidy and clean. They had drinks and food in the fridge for us, Francesco showed us around on the huge map at the house. He was always available on the phone when we had questions and always helped us. When we left Rome for Florence, coup problems emerged in Turkey and Francesco asked if we were okay and informed us about international news about situation. We are most grateful to them for our beautiful time in Rome and we are looking forward for the next time! Grazie mille ragazzi!
