We take great pride in presenting a high-end property. We only rent to groups who can insure us that the house and its belongings will be treated with the up most respect and care. We ask you to please smoke outside.
My family and I stayed here while we were in town for my brother's wedding. This is an adorable house that is a short drive away from downtown. The host and owners were all wonderful and helpful and let my family host a small rehearsal dinner here. We had a great trip in New Orleans and a great time in the house! Thanks!
What an experience, we arrived at New Orleans airport at around 9pm and collected our rental car, luckily we had GPS and detailed instructions to Willow Drive from Joseph, the journey took around 40 minutes, but unfortunately the GPS took us the long way round through a bunch of unlit potholed roads, to be honest this was a fun experience in itself. We say a bunch of wildlife on this drive and eventually went past a fairly ominous Dead End sign, the numbers on the mailboxes were out of order so we kept on going right to the very end and turned into the last driveway on the right, where we were greeted by the sight of a beautiful pond and gorgeous red wood house on stilts.
The house itself is lovely with hard wood floors, a huge combined living room and kitchen, 2 screened porch areas and four well appointed bedrooms, there was 2 toilets (reached by two of the bedrooms) and one shower room. We were a group of six and this worked perfectly for us. The beds were comfy and the house clean, with everything we could need such as towels, cleaning products. Joseph had been kind enough to leave us a bunch of groceries and even a Mardi Gras King Cake! Overall we were all delighted!
This property was about a 20 minute drive from the French Quarter and parking was easy, the nearest shops and amenities are on Gen De Gualle Avenue and as far as we could see there was nothing within walking distance. On Mardi Gras day we (to our great surprise) had no problem getting a taxi to and from town. Overall a great experience, would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend. Our age range was from 23 to 44 years and we all agreed that we'd much rather stay here in the countryside than in the centre of the action. Every morning we fed the fish and turtles in the pond, which was delightful and Jessie the dog was lovely! Thanks for a great holiday, we all wished we could stay longer.
The house was nice, spacious , quiet and great for family . Not far from New Orleans night life.
It was an amazing time in NOLA! House is beautiful, well equipped and Tim and Suzanne are excellent hosts. They respond very quickly when we request assistance. Strongly recommended!
We spent 5 terrific days in your house. Thanks for the provision of bottled water, bread, orange juice et cetera. My grandkids just loved the place and on our flight back home to Copenhagen yesterday we voted about the best place we stayed at, and your place took the price.
The transport time to downtown is not more than 25 mins, so its really worth while staying out in the countryside, sitting in the evening listening to the frogs, owls and cacadas. Thanks to Tim for all his nice advice and we can only recommend others to take a few days vacation at Willow Drive

About the Host, Joseph
I came to New Orleans 10 months after Hurricane Katrina for the restoration effort. I enjoy the Seafood and Music and would not even think about leaving New Orleans. I mange a large group of properties for Dr. Suzanne Chabaud. You might be familiar with Dr. Chabaud since she is the TV Psychotherapist for the A & E Hit series on Hoarding.
