This cozy apartment comfortably accommodates a single traveler, a couple or a small family visiting Hong Kong. It has a microwave oven, refrigerator and all the eating and cooking utensils that a traveller would need. It has a full bathroom that has an enclosed shower with water heater. One big and comfortable real bed (Not a futon or pullout sofa) that sleeps 2 people. Flat LCD screen TV with cable TV and a DVD player as well as ultra high speed wireless internet connection. But the best thing about this apartment is it's location. It is close to all sorts of transportation that take you to everywhere you would want to go to in Hong Kong.
Located on the West side of Hong Kong in the Sheung Wan district, it is a fast 1 min walk t the Sai Ying Pun MTR Station Entrance and 5 minutes walk from the foreign friendly district Soho (South of Hollywood Rd). It is only a few stops away from the Central MTR station on the Tram or bus and the neighborhood is super safe and friendly. Interaction with Guests
As much as possible or invisible if you want. I will try to meet with arriving guests and show them the area. Whenever guests need information or recommendations, I am always available via messaging or phone.
The Sheung Wan neighbourhood is ever changing and a fantastic mix of "old' and "new" Hong Kong. This apartment is located in the heart of Hong Kong's commercial, cultural and shopping districts and within short walking distance to the subway and HK Macau Ferry Pier. A few minutes walk away from the harbour front and the fantastic Sun Yat Sun Memorial Park and Public swimming pool over look the world famous Victoria Harbor.
The Sheung Wan MTR station is but 8 min walking distance away that takes you all over Hong Kong and Kowloon. There are also buses, trams, minibuses that run near the doorstep of the building on Des Voeux Road West Road and take you to every corner of the island and beyond.
Other Things to Note
Once you arrive in Hong Kong, everything is quite simple and all starts with a call from the FREE phones at the airport located in the hall immediately after you pass through baggage customs. There is also a Visitors Center there if you would like to pick up some maps, local travel guides, etc. to read on your way to the apartment. If you need a local SIM card, there is a 7-11 in the middle section of the main arrival hall where they see all types of SIM cards, I usually prefer the PCCW brand as it is the larges local operator.
This is a Strictly NON SMOKING Flat.
UPON ARRIVAL AT PROPERTY, ALL GUESTS MUST WAIT FOR ME AT THE FRONT GATE OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING. BUILDING RESIDENTS WILL COMPLAIN TO PROPERTY MANAGEMENT IF THE LOBBY AREA INSIDE BUILDING IS BLOCKED. THANKS FOR YOUR KIND UNDERSTANDING FOR AN ENJOYABLE STAY.
Check in time is AFTER 12:30 pm. Make sure to contact us by phone at least 30 minutes prior to arrival such that we can meet you at the flat to hand you the keys and acquaint you to the surroundings. As this is a family business, please try your best to arrive at the apartment as early as possible. After 11:30pm as transport to the apartment is limited for us, we have to charge HKD150 to cover our taxi transport cost to and from the apartment. We are generally exhausted at the end of the day and we really would rather you arrive early and not have to charge this.
Guests must wait for us OUTSIDE the building upon arrival and not enter the building without us as this causes unnecessary misunderstandings with the property management and residents of the buildings.
Check out time is STRICT at 11:00 am. NO EXCEPTIONS or you will be charged for an extra full day. Our cleaning crew will arrive at 11:00 am to service the flat for the next guest, thanks for your cooperation.
Please help us save the environment by turning off electrical appliances when leaving the apartment or not using them.
Water heater needs to be turned off when not using. If it breaks due to prolonged time left on, you will not have any hot water for your stay and will be subject to expensive repair charges.
In the case that you have an evening departure flight:
Please note that you can check in your luggage at anytime during the same day as your flight at the Hong Kong Station Airport Express, which is only a 5 minute taxi or bus ride from the apartment. That way you would be free to explore the city on your last day, not having to worry about your luggage or rushing to the airport since you have already checked in, you will not have to be at the airport as early as everyone else.
All airlines flying from Hong Kong airport offer In Town check in, EXCEPT the following:
Jetstar Asia Airlines
It was a great place close to the station with great food and quiet. The ideal place to a short and busy stay in Hong Kong
I will not come back for this apartment. It is a sub-divided unit from a flat. I don't like the neighborhood and the apartment lobby. I never had a chance to meet the host, Brendan. He never contact me during my stay.
Overall a good experience. Apt is small but clean, comfortable. The host was accommodating and prompt with responses. The only negative thing is that it takes 20 minutes to warm up the shower which only lasts for 3-4 minutes of hot water. But if you can get around that it's a good value overall.
Brendan was a great host. He showed up to let me in and gave me all the info I could ask for. The place was as expected based on the photos and descriptions/comments. The location is pretty good. Scheung Wan station is very convenient with tons of restaurants nearby. The apartment is a 15 minute walk from the station.
The place is great for one person, a little tight for two if you are staying more than a few days (fine for a weekend).
When I had a small request to change a lightbulb, Brendan (and his mother) had it taken care of the same day!
Great little apartment, had everything I needed and close to everything in Hong Kong. I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you
The apartment is in a secure building and the area felt safe. The photos aren't entirely accurate since the furniture is different from that shown (the couch is grey, not white, and the bedroom is laid out differently) but that's not important. The bathroom is tiny (I'm only 5'2" and I still had to sit sideways on the toilet!) but it's clean and tidy. The little extras were really appreciated - shampoo and conditioner, enough toilet paper, lots of towels and flannels, plenty of cutlery and crockery. The bed was actually pretty large (plenty of room for 2 people) and very comformable. The aircon works well and there's a fan as well. If you're planning on using the MTR to get around, make sure you get clear instructions on how to get to the Sheung Wan station as it's a decent walk and quite confusing trying to find it on your own. There is a 7/11 just around the corner from the apartment which was fantastic, as well as a larger grocery store down the street. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend the apartment. One piece of advice - print out the address in Chinese and English on little cards so you can hand it to a taxi driver if you need to get back easily.

I was born in California and raised in Hong Kong. Went to college in the states and returned to Hong Kong a few years ago. I absolutely love travelling around the region but Hong Kong has always welcomed me home and I look forward to showing off my home town and sharing all the little insights and local specialities with all my guests!
