Every detail of our stay was anticipated and tended to.The house was very pleasant and our room comfortable, also very conveniently located near to Plaza San Miguel where all of your banking, dining & shopping needs can be met...in style even.
Kelly is a lovely, helpful and engaging host, actually more than that,we both feel like we made a friend.
Beto,Kelly's driver, was on time, very affordable, speaks english and once again is someone we've come to call friend.
We give Kelly's place our highest possible ranking all things considered.
Kelly was an excellent host, very welcoming and warm. I found her home to be well kept, with a cleaner attending to the rooms and general living area on a regular basis. The space itself is gorgeous. My room had two double beds, a great big window, space for me to put a few belongings on shelves and a dresser. The outdoor space was beautiful too with the mural making it cozy. Breakfast was served every morning I was there promptly and Kelly was quite conscientious in attending to my needs. I would definitely recommend staying here!
Spent a 14 hour layover at Cristian's on my way from Colombia to Argentina. The driver was waiting for me with a smile at the airport and we had a great chat on the way. It was late so he showed me to my room and got me set up. The next morning I had a lovely breakfast and a nice talk with Kelly before heading back to the airport. Wish I could have stayed longer! The house has got a very cool vibe with a surf mural on the back patio and welcoming color schemes. Would definitely recommend!
I arrived at night and left early next morning, but the driver arranged by Cristian and Kelli was nice and very helpful. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, and my room was comfortable & clean, as was the bathroom. Wi-fi worked fine as well. Even though I had little contact with Cristian, he was nice and friendly. I recommend this place and would stay again.
Cristian is a very friendly host. Everything was fine for my short stay. I would stay here again and recommend it too. Thank you Cristian
Only stayed one night as it was a stopover. We were picked up from the airport which was organized by Cristian and Kelli which was great. Cristian greeted us and gave us local information where to eat. The rooms were clean and comfortable and great having WIFI. The bathroom was also clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend. Clean Comfortable and a really friendly host.
Kelly and Cristian both had really warm and inviting energy. It was truly a pleasure meeting them.
There was breakfast as listed. Fresh eggs, fruit, croissants, coffee... all presented very beautifully.
However, I really expected more from this stay. When we arrived in Lima the driver was not there to pick us up even though we scheduled it weeks in advance. We finally made our way to the house and found out that we were in fact forgotten about :(
We also stayed here on our last night before flying back to the US. I had been trying to get in contact with someone to confirm that there would be someone to let us in when we arrived (we opted to take a taxi from the airport based on our initial experience). No one responded but luckily the driver was outside of the house waiting in his car and was able to let us in. We were the only ones in the house our last night.
There was not any fresh drinking water left for us and no tea or anything as listed in the description. We ended up feeling a little bit like an after thought.
I think that it would probably be better to stay here when more tourists are going through Peru. It seemed like maybe we were there on the off season and Cristian/Kelly had other things going on.
Also something to note- most cab drivers do not know where this house is based on the address. We spent about an hour and a half in the back of a taxi with a very angry and frustrated driver.
Hi Sara-- I am very sorry for your sub par experience here in Lima. You were correct in assuming that we have had a lot going on... Kelly was traveling and Cristian had some family stuff he had to take care of. Rest assured that now that the dust has settled everything is back to normal and we are dedicating this slow season to getting the B&B back to 100% operation. If you will ever be coming back to Lima or have friends that will be here, please let us know and we will be sure to make it up to you. We really enjoyed our brief meeting and wish you both all the best!
