Welcome to our cozy and serene Japanese - Scandinavian inspired home located in Ballard. Our newly remodeled space has soaring ceilings, a queen-size bed, a full-size sleeper futon, fully equipped kitchen, and a private keyless entrance. Our home is a short walk away from some of the best restaurants, cafes, craft breweries and local boutiques that Ballard has to offer. We're also one block away from the D Line bus station, which will take you to downtown Seattle in 25 minutes.
The space
We carefully curated this spacious studio with natural materials and woods (including a few homemade furnishings!) to provide a relaxing atmosphere that will help you feel rejuvenated and recharged after a day of working or exploring.
Guest access
Enter through the front door using a private keyless entrance on the first floor. We will provide you with your own personal key code beforehand. There is free street parking right out front and all around our block.
Other things to note
We are in a convenient location on a main road and while this offers easy access in getting around, you will hear traffic noise from the street. If you are a light sleeper, we provide disposable ear plugs and a sound machine. We also have thick black-out curtains to block out light. We don't want any surprises for you, so please do take note if you are a very sensitive sleeper.

From the host
The Ballard neighborhood is "historic meets hip". Spirited art, food, and retail are hallmarks of this diverse district with a strong seafaring heritage. It's a safe neighborhood and offers some of the best restaurants, cafes, craft breweries and local boutiques that Seattle has to offer. Some of its best sights and attractions include Golden Gardens Park to soak up the Puget Sound views and saunter along the beach, National Nordic Museum, Ballard Farmers Market (Sundays 9am - 2pm), and Ballard Locks/Botanical Garden. Plus, Ballard is only a 15 minute drive, or 25 minute bus ride to Downtown Seattle (Pikes Place, Space Needle, etc.)
Meet your host
Hi! We’re Anne and Bryce. We both grew up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and absolutely love living in Ballard, Seattle. When we’re not hosting guests, we write and record music together in a band called Chinese American Bear (check us out on all socials and streaming platforms! shorturl.at/fBJX3). We also love traveling, trying out new restaurants, and meeting people from all over the world. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything during your stay. We hope you have a wonderful time here!
