Elisabetta was very kind and helpful. The apartment was adorable and very comfortable. Elisabetta met us there and showed us the apartment and spent time graciously answering our many questions regarding train schedules and eating places, etc. The apartment was spotless and sooo charming. We loved being in the center of the city. Naples was a surprise in a lot of ways...my daughter fell in love with the city and we walked in all directions as soon as we got there. I only wish we had more time to really explore all that Naples had to offer. We planned to go to Pompeii the next morning (but we took the wrong train...our fault) so we went back into Naples and walked the city some more before catching our next train out. I hope we will be able to come back another time. Thankyou Elisabetta for letting us be your guests!
We stayed for only one night in Elisabetta's apartment, on our way back from Sorrento. We were very happy with our stay, however, and now wished that we had stayed longer.
Elisabetta's apartment could not be in a more convenient and central location. Minutes away by foot in one direction are the new Metro Station and shops at Via Toledo and, in the other, the delicious gelato and history along the "Spaccanapoli."
Elisabetta's apartment is beautifully furnished inside. It has upper loft type floor with a comfortable bed and bathroom. Everything is modern, comfortable, and complete. A great base for seeing Napoli.
Tall folks might be a little concerned about the second floor, with a bit of a low ceiling in the bedroom. I was a bit wary as I am six feet (@ 1.82 meters) tall and have banged my head in such places in the past. But I managed, and so would most, I imagine.
We loved Naples! A truly ancient and wonderful place and a must see. Our visit was all the more pleasurable due to our stay at Elizabetta's apartment. The apartment is quite beautiful, well-equipped, and in a fantastic location. If you are a person who likes to learn a little about how the locals live while on holiday but still have access to all the major sites, this is the place to rent. We only wish we could have stayed longer...sigh.
Elisabetta was an attentive and helpful host. She organized taxis to and from the airport for us, which made things pleasant (very sweet drivers both ways), and she popped in to make sure we were OK on the first day and stayed in touch via email. The apartment has a good central location: close to Spaccanapoli, within walking distance of the port for boats to Capri & Ischia, and right next to the very lively Piazza del Gesu where it's easy to pick up a taxi if you need one. There are lots of restaurants & an excellent supermarket just around the corner. It's up two short but steep flights of stairs so wouldn't really suit for anyone with walking difficulties but once inside you have everything you need! We had a good time!
This flat was a great place. All was handy. Absolutely not a complaint about anything. Elisabetta was a fantastic host. She also does tours and she guided us for a tour of Pompeii was absolutely fantastic. The apartment is well situated and close to all the sites in Napoli.
Highly recommended to stay here if you come to Napoli. It was a great experience.
Great flat perfectly located in Naples!
If you are looking for a truly Neapolitan experience, this is the best place to stay! Elisabetta's apartment is located in the Historical Centre of Napoli, in a very lively street full of cafés, a yummy gelateria, restaurants and right next to the Piazza de Gesú Nuovo, a great little square for hanging out and a beautiful church as a backdrop. The apartment is beautiful, really clean and tastefully decorated. What I enjoyed most from staying at this apartment is how conveniently located it is: right in the heart of the historical centre and just walking distance from shopping at Via Toledo, the port to take the ferry to the neighboring islands, and a nice further walk down Via Toledo will take you to the shore line, filled with locals and many great places to eat. A great place to stay for a truly unique experience! Thank you Elisabetta!
3 of us stayed here for one night.
We don't know Naples very well but the flat's location seems to be convenient and in a lively part of town. The window/door to the little balcony has good sound proofing, so while not silent, it's quiet inside.
The check-in with Elisabetta was smooth - we text-ed her when we landed at the airport and again when we were underway in a taxi. She was waiting at the flat when we arrived.
Note: the flat is a studio - with mezzanine floor. There are 3 double beds - 2 up stairs and one downstairs - room for 6 people. But not much privacy from other people in the flat when sleeping. Especially since one has to walk past the two upstairs beds to get to the bathroom.
All-in-all we were very happy with the whole experience.
We were a family of 5 at Elisabetta’s apartment. The apt was clean and airy with a lovely view of the Piazza del Gesu' Nuovo from the small balcony. Spaccanapoli is right across from the apt within a 2 minute walk.
All the conveniences are close by including restaurants, grocery and a bus stop. Also a garage is available 7 min walk, close to Police station, which make it even safer. She was very easy to communicate with and responsive before our arrival and provided us with a clear and easy "how to" list. The apt’s hot water and gas supply is via pipe. The kitchen was stocked with essentials like oil, salt, sugar etc. Air conditioning worked properly.
We had a good stay at the apt and I would recommend it if you are staying in Napoli.
