Gary is class act. I stayed with him for 3 days while on a solo ski trip and have nothing but great things to say about him. He is worldly and incredibly knowledgeable, yet so approachable and so fun to talk with! His home is comfortable, clean and as described. I loved the big windows around the house and how you can see the mountains right from his living room - that was quite a treat. The location worked perfect for me as it is in a nice quiet neighborhood just 5-10mins from the slopes. Gary is truly a wonderful host and his doggie Reina is hands down one of the sweetest pups I've ever met. I was sad to leave! I really enjoyed staying with him and do hope to have the change to do so again in the future. Thanks again for everything Gary :)
Gary is a great host. The house was clean and it is a quiet area. Very relaxing.
We really enjoyed our stay with Gary. When we first arrived, Gary and Raina (Gary's dog) welcomed us warmly. Gary has very interesting life stories that had us laugh. We were fortunate to catch some fresh spring snow so we didn't get enough time to get to know him. We appropriate Gary keeping the house warm and clean. His house is 20 mins await from keystone and a basin, 5 mins from main street Frisco. We will plan ahead next winter so we can stay longer. Thank you Gary and Raina.
Gary made us comfortably right away, he is a great host, we felt like we were at our home. We enjoyed the great converastions we had together, he is very open minded and you can talk about anything. Room spacious, kitchen and living room great. Thanks Gary
Gary was a very gracious and accommodating host. I immediately felt welcomed and at home moments after meeting him. The home itself is very spacious, open, clean and beautiful, with all amenities provided for. It is also very close to the nearby ski resorts and 10 mins away from Frisco where you will find stores and restaurants. I think the best part of my stay was my interaction with Gary... I enjoyed Gary's grounded and serene nature, and our entertaining, informative and deep conversations. My only regret is not being able to stay longer! I will definitely be back again for a wonderful stay with Gary! Thank you so much!
Staying at Gary's home was a smooth as it gets. I arrived and chatted with Gary for a while. He's a very interesting character and has a lot of powerful insight to offer, especially for a 21 year old like myself. Gary's room was comfortable and had two double beds in it. The bathroom was a bit of a walk but didn't bother me at all. Gary had plenty of comfortable towels in the bathroom to be used. I shared the bathroom with a younger couple that was staying in the room right next to the bathroom. This wasn't an issue at all. I was tired and the room was great. Exactly as described. Gary has a well behaved dog that lives with him and a very nice pad right near swan mountain pass. You don't have to deal with the breckenridge traffic and I was 10 minutes from keystone. I had a great time and look forward to staying with Gary In the future!

Went to college and became a New York City Police Officer, Lakewood (CO) Police Agent, Summit County Undersheriff, County Coroner, County Commissioner and Colorado State Representative. The five things I can't live without.
1. My family.
4. Summit County, Colorado.
5. Spicy food.
My favorite travel destinations.
Mexico, Guatemala and Ecuador
I prefer non-fiction books. Historical biographies and recent academic studies.
I really do not watch movies. The entire industry has become very poor. If a movie gets outstanding reviews I might go see it prior to the Academy Awards.
I like all kinds of music without respect to the type of music.
I will eat any and all kinds of food. I really do not have a preference.
As a host I offer a life of varied experience. I have lived and worked all over the world except in Asia. I spent most of my life as a police officer and have taught at the college level since 1970. I teach a total of 27 different subjects and truly enjoy all of them. I get paid to teach but if I were not paid I would still teach for free. I moved to Colorado in 1970 and have lived in the mountains most of that time.
I am very open minded and liberal. I believe that people should be able to live their personal lifestyle without criticism or judgement.
As a host I feel it is my role to help guests as much as possible and to be a resource into the Colorado Mountains and Summit County.
My life motto is to "Take it easy" and let what will be alone.
