  • Pina is a great host. Probably you'll learn a lot from her. She's easy to talk with and can give you answers to every questions you wanna ask. She is really really nice and she'll make sure that you are okay. Her time is flexible. Easy to reach and will give the easiest access to almost everything..
About the house, i mean HOME, it was really clean. Everything you need is already there. The bed is very comfy. I am a little bit picky about the toilet and bed, but hers is super clean, in order and spacious.. I really love it.. Of all the airbnb experience, this one was unforgettable.. Thanks! We greatly appreciate everyhting, Pina!! Hope to see you again..

  • a friendly host, an excellent apartment in a convenient location, in a quiet neighborhood close to a great park

  • where to begin? everything was excellent -- i'm so glad i chose Pina's place. i could tell from the excellent communication leading up to my stay that things would be great. little did i know she and her son would meet me for coffee and a pastry at the neighborhood cafe on my way in? what a wonderful way to begin a stay.

the apartment is wonderfully appointed and has wonderful natural light and ventilation. the washing machine and fully-equipped kitchen were definitely used. (hint: to turn on the kitchen exhaust fan, pull the whole thing outward)

located a couple minutes' walk from the Porta Furba metro stop on Line A, everything in the city was within easy reach. it's also far enough out of town to be "real" Rome. not touristy or overpriced Rome, but an authentic neighborhood with a great neighborhood feel. a supermarket is located right off the subway stop for all your food and snack needs.

the only drawback, and it's minor, is that wifi reception is hard to come by depending on which device you have. the speeds were good, though, once you get reception. you just need to find the sweet spots.

a great great apartment and host and i would definitely stay here again!

  • We had a great experience with Pina's apartment. When we arrived her son Marco greeted us at the airport and showed us how to get to the market and the metro and suggested some good restaurants in the area. Pina is a tour guide and she offered us many tips to avoid long lines at the major attractions which saved us a lot of time and told us about some of the must see places! The apartment itself is gorgeous, very clean and stocked with everything we could possibly need. The neighborhood is very quiet and everyone we talked to was very friendly. Even after we had checked out of the apartment Pina and her family went above and beyond to make sure our stay in Rome was the best. If we ever make it back to Rome we would definitely stay here again, but until then I will be recommending this apartment to all of our friends heading to Rome.

  • This was my first time using airbnb and I am so glad I did it. Pina and her family were amazing! So helpful and friendly. Very easy to arrange everything and Pina is full of great knowledge of the area. Pina and her husband picked us up from the airport very late at night and still made time to drive us around the area so we new where we needed to go to get to the metro and shops. We was given lots of advice and tips on what to see and do and recommended a beautiful resturant down the road from where we was staying .... fantastic food, great atmosphere and truly traditional, we loved it! Rome is only a short metro ride away (around 20 mins in total from apartment / metro is 5 mins walk away from apartment) and there is a lovely walk to see the aqueducts which are located right next to the apartments. On our final day Pina and her husband took us for a coffee before heading to the airport which was so kind of them, they are such lovely people. All I have to say to anyone who is thinking of going to Rome, book with Pina!!!! Apartment is gorgous, fantastic hosts, we will be definatly be visiting again. Thanks for everything Pina and family :-)

  • We stayed eight days at Pina's apartment in November 2013. It is a good place to stay, close to the metro and local facilities. We could easily access the city and explore all nice places of Roma! Pina herself is a wonderful lady, very hospitable and genuine travellers will immediately like her. We will definitely recommend her place to friends. Make sure you visit local restaurant Giardino Segretto for the nicest pizza's and amazing staff.

  • The apartment was wonderful. It is in a very quiet neighborhood about 5-10 minutes' walk from the nearest subway station and a neighborhood with a decent supermarket and pharmacy.

Pina met us at the subway station and walked us to the apartment when we arrived, and was gracious with the questions we had during the visit.

  • We've stayed at Pina's apartment for 6 wonderful days. These days were really great and we want to thank Pina and her family for all help. She was very attentive, she met us at the airport, gave us all necessary information regarding Rome along with the map.

Many thanks to her son Marco (Hi Marco!), he helped us to avoid the long line to the Coliseum. The apartment is clean and very comfortable, it has everything you need.

There are some cool restaurants near the apartments, especially Giardino Segreto with it's tasty pizza. We felt like at home during all stay in Rome.

    Chao Pina :)
