About This Listing
Cozy apartment in the Lower East Side, a less touristy central neighborhood in Manhattan. 20 min walk to Soho; 20 min train ride to Williamsburg & Times Square. Many great local bars and restaurants steps away.
The bedroom has a lofted queen sized bed with new, clean sheets and a comforter. There is a potential second sleeping area on the ground below. You will have your own wardrobe as well.
Altogether, there is comfortable space to sleep for 2-3 people. You would have access to entire apartment which includes a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, and a full bathroom. Wireless internet and heating are included.
We're only one flight up, so easy to deal with luggage.
I have many, many books and magazines that you are welcome to.
Location wise, the building is in a beautiful spot on the Lower East Side, near great nightlife, bars and restaurants. Whole Foods is about a 10 minute walk away. We are also near many small art galleries, the Tenement Museum, and the New Museum. There are dozens of local clothing boutiques as well. I'd be more than happy to direct you to any where you would like.
For public transit, the building is a 5 minute walk to the J,M,Z, and F trains, and a 20 minute walk to the 6 train. We're also right next to the Williamsburg bridge, and it is about a 20-30 minute walk over to Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg.
Guests will have access to the living room, kitchen (including microwave, dishwasher, stove, plates, pots, silverware etc), bathroom (with clean towels), hairdryer, and all other amenities in the apartment outside of my personal bedroom.

Great bars, great restaurants, not too quiet, not too loud. Basically, a really fun place to be!

The place looks just like on the pictures and as described. A bit noisy as the room is on the street side so if you have trouble with that maybe its not for you. But I slept very well. Very well located in the Lower East Side. bars and restaurants all around. 2min walk to the subway, 5min to the East River promenade and 30min to Brooklyn via the Williamsburg Bridge. You'll get anywhere pretty fast actually. Great place and totally recommend it.
Staying at Rachels was great, I was there from a Monday to Friday and we never crossed paths, she was rarely there so you basically have the apt to yourself. The actual bedroom was nice, very simple. It got very warm in the room but she provides a fan that helped a little.
Even tho we never met she was very quick to respond to any questions I had.
I would definitely stay here again.
Rachel answered fast to my request and was available on phone for every question. That's important for me being an inexperienced Airbnb user. Easy connection to rest of Manhattan and lots of food stores near by were at hand. The room wasn't special but the bed was comfy and the living room with the kitchen is cute and well supplied.
Everything was fantastic about Rachel's place! The neighborhood in particular was awesome- good coffee shops, interesting food, and a great vibe. I would absolutely stay here again!
